TET Exam

TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) exam is conducted by the Tamil Nadu government to recruit the teachers for the government schools. Like Tamil Nadu government all other state government and central government also conducting their own level of TET Exam for recruiting the eligible teachers. TET is referred as State Level TET (State Level Teacher Eligibility Test) and Central TET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test). State Level TET mean TET exam is conducted by each state like Kerala TET (KTET), Tamil Nadu TET (TN TET), etc. 5 years validity period for CTET and 7 years validity period for STET. Candidates who are applied in government school definitely we need TET certification. Without TET Certification we can’t apply for government schools. With this validity period candidates have to join in the government school. TET will be recruiting the teachers for government faculties to work in the level of classes like Lower primary level (class I to V), Upper primary level (VI to VIII) and Secondary School Teacher (class X to XI).

Criteria to apply

To apply for the TET Exam, candidate age should be from 18 yrs to 40yrs and they should possess bachelor degree and along with this bachelor degree candidates must have master degree and B.Ed.

TET Exam has Paper I and Paper II. Paper I and II has 150 questions for 150 marks. Each paper is conducted for 3 hrs time durations. It is an objective type question only. Languages I has Tamil, Malayalam, Urdu, Telugu and Kanda and Language II have English only. Candidates can be able to select their own language for Language I.
