• கப்பல் போக்குவரத்துத் துறை அமைச்சர் ஸ்ரீ மன்சுக் மாண்டவியா, 2019 நவம்பர் 7-8 தேதிகளில் ஆந்திராவின் விசாகப்பட்டினத்தில் முதல் ‘பிம்ஸ்டெக் துறைமுக மாநாட்டை’ திறந்து வைத்தார்.

• லக்னோவில் உள்ள சர்பாக் ரயில் நிலையத்தில் இரண்டு ‘ஹெல்த் ஏடிஎம்களை’ (‘Health ATM’s) இந்திய ரயில்வே நிறுவியுள்ளது.
  • யோலோ ஹெல்த் ஏடிஎம் (YOLO Health ATM) விளம்பரப்படுத்திய கியோஸ்க்கள் ரூ.50-100 க்கு 16 சுகாதார சோதனைகளை வழங்குகின்றன. இரண்டு வகையான சோதனைகள் 9 நிமிடங்களுக்கு ரூ.100 செலவாகும், 6 நிமிடத்திற்கு ரூ.50 செலவாகும். அறிக்கை பயனரின் மின்னஞ்சல் அல்லது ஸ்மார்ட்போனுக்கு உடனடியாக வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

  • நிலவளத் திணைக்களம் தேசிய தொலைநிலை உணர்திறன் மையம் (National Remote Sensing centre (NRSC)), விண்வெளித் துறை இணைந்து இந்தியாவின் தரிசு நிலங்களை – 2000, 2005, 2010 மற்றும் 2011 பதிப்புகளை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.

• நிர்பயா நிதியின் உதவியுடன் அனைத்து மாவட்டங்களிலும் மனிதக் கடத்தல் தடுப்புப் பிரிவுகளை (Anti- Human Trafficking Units – AHTU) அமைப்பதாக மத்திய அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது.
  • தற்போது நாட்டில் 146 மாவட்டங்களில் மட்டுமே AHTUகள் செயல்படுகின்றன.

    • இந்திய அரசு தனது 2013 ஆம் ஆண்டு நிதிநிலை அறிக்கையில் நிர்பயா நிதிக்கு 1000 கோடி ரூபாய் நிதியை அறிவித்துள்ளது.

• இராணுவ, பொருளாதார மற்றும் விண்வெளி தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் ஆராய்ச்சி நடத்துவதற்கான சூடானின் முதல் செயற்கைக்கோள் சீனாவால் ஏவப்பட்டது. சூடானின் ரிமோட் சென்சிங் செயற்கைக்கோள் AHTUஷென்ஜென் ஏரோஸ்பேஸ் ஓரியண்டல் செங்கடல் செயற்கைக்கோள் நிறுவனத்தால் (Shenzhen Aerospace Oriental Red Sea Satellite Co)உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த செயற்கைக்கோள் சீனாவின் லாங் மார்ச்-4 பி ராக்கெட்டில் ஏவப்பட்டது.

• ஏறக்குறைய இரண்டு தசாப்தங்களில் அல்சைமர் நோய்க்குச் சிகிச்சை அளிப்பதற்கான மற்றும் அந்த நிலையை மாற்றியமைக்கும் ஆற்றலுடன் கூடிய ஒரே சிகிச்சையான உலகின் முதலாவது புதிய மருந்தான ஒலிகோமன்னேட் ஆனது சீன அரசாங்கத்தால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
  • கடற்பாசியைத் தவறாமல் உட்கொள்ளும் வயதானவர்களிடையே அல்சைமர் நோய் குறைவாக இருப்பதால் அதன் மூலம் ஒலிகோமன்னேட் கண்டுபிடிப்பின் வளர்ச்சி ஈர்க்கப்பட்டது.

• The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has allocated separate HS code for signature fabric of India. HS stands for Harmonized System and was developed by the World Customs Organization (WCO). The code is used by customs officers to clear commodities entering or crossing international border.

• Italy will next year become the world’s first country to make it compulsory for schoolchildren to study climate change and sustainable development. All state schools would dedicate 33 hours per year, almost one hour per school week, to climate change issues from the start of the next academic year in September.
