• வடகிழக்கு மாநிலங்களுக்கு சிறப்பு அந்தஸ்து அளிக்கும் அரசமைப்புச் சட்டத்தின் 371-வது பிரிவு ரத்து செய்யப்பட மாட்டாது என்று மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சர் அமித் ஷா உறுதியளித்தார்.
  • வடகிழக்கு மாநிலங்களுக்கு சிறப்பு அந்தஸ்து அளிக்கும் அரசமைப்புச் சட்டத்தின் 371-வது பிரிவு, வடகிழக்கு மாநிலங்களில் பழங்குடி மக்களின் கலாசாரத்தை பாதுகாக்கும் வகையில் உள்ளது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

 

 

• புதுடில்லியில் நடைபெற்ற தேசிய இளைஞர் உச்சி மாநாடு 2019 ஐ இந்திய ஜனாதிபதி ஸ்ரீ ராம்நாத் கோவிந்த் திறந்து வைத்துள்ளார்.
  • இதை இளைஞர் விழிப்புணர்வு மிஷன் (காஜியாபாத்தின் பவன் சிந்தன் தாரா அறக்கட்டளையின் ஒரு பிரிவு) ஏற்பாடு செய்தது.

• ஸ்விட்சர்லாந்து வங்கிகளில் ரகசியமாக கணக்கு வைத்துள்ள இந்தியர்களின் விவரங்களை அந்நாட்டு அரசு தயாரித்துள்ளது. அதில் இந்தியாவைச் சேர்ந்த வர்த்தகர்கள், வெளிநாடுகளில் வசிக்கும் இந்தியர்கள் ஆகியோரின் பெயர்கள் அதிகம் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது. முதல் தொகுதி விவரங்களை இந்த மாதத்தில் ஸ்விஸ் அரசு இந்தியாவிடம் அளிக்கவுள்ளது.

 

 

நியமனங்கள்

 

• தெலுங்கானா மாநிலத்தின் முதல் பெண் ஆளுநராக தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த தமிழிசை சௌந்தரராஜன் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை பதவியேற்றுக்கொண்டார்.
  • தெலுங்கானா முதல்வர் சந்திரசேகர் ராவ் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது
  • ஆந்திரப் பிரதேசத்தில் இருந்து தெலுங்கானா தனி மாநிலமாக 1-ஆம் தேதி பிரிக்கப்பட்ட பிறகு, ஆந்திராவின் ஆளுநராக இருந்த இ.எஸ்.எல். நரசிம்மன், இரு மாநிலங்களுக்கும் ஆளுநராக பதவி வகித்து வந்தார்.

 

 

அறிவியல் நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• நிலவில் தரையிறங்கும் கடைசி நிமிடத்தில் தகவல்தொடர்பு துண்டிக்கப்பட்ட சந்திரயான்-2 விக்ரம் லேண்டர், தற்போது இருக்குமிடம் தெரிய வந்திருப்பதாக இஸ்ரோ அறிவித்துள்ளது.
  • நிலவின் பரப்பில் லேண்டர் இருக்குமிடத்தை நிலவைச் சுற்றி வந்து ஆய்வு செய்துகொண்டிருக்கும் சந்திரயான்-2 ஆர்பிட்டர் படம் பிடித்தது.
  • உலகிலேயே முதல் நாடாக, நிலவின் தென் துருவத்தை ஆய்வு செய்வதற்காக சந்திரயான் -2 விண்கலத்தை இஸ்ரோ கடந்த ஜுலை 22-ம் தேதி விண்ணுக்கு அனுப்பியது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

                சர்வதேச எழுத்தறிவு தினம் (ஐ.எல்.டி) 2019 செப்டம்பர் 8 அன்று ‘கல்வியறிவு மற்றும் பன்மொழி’ என்ற கருப்பொருளுடன் அனுசரிக்கப்பட்டது. இது கல்வியறிவின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை அல்லது தனிநபர்கள், சமூகங்கள் மற்றும் சமூகங்களுக்கான வாசிப்பு மற்றும் எழுதும் திறனை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது.

NATIONAL NEWS

• The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, inaugurated the National Youth Summit in New Delhi on September 7, 2019), organised by the Youth Awakening Mission, a youth wing of Paavan Chintan Dhara Charitable Trust, Ghaziabad.

 

 

• Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said that the Centre will not scrap Article 371 of the Constitution, which grants special provisions to the north-eastern states.
  • Addressing the 68th Plenary Session of the North Eastern Council here, he said, “Article 371 is not a temporary provision like Article 370 was.

 

 

SCIENCE AND TECH UPDATES

• India’s Chandrayaan-2 orbiter circling the moon has spotted the country’s lost Vikram lander on the lunar surface, but there is still no signal from the lander.
  • K Sivan , Cheif of ISRO said that the Vikram lander was located by Chandrayaan-2 and efforts to restore contact the probe will continue for at least 14 days.

 

 

ECONOMY

• As India prepares to analyse troves of Swiss banking details of its citizens, a large portion of the first tranche of data being shared by Switzerland under an automatic exchange of information (AEOI) framework this month .
  • The data that was prepared by all Switzerland-based banks under a direction from the Swiss government for despatching further to the Indian authorities provides full details of the entire flow of funds.

 

 

APPOINTMENTS

• Former Tamil Nadu BJP chief Tamilisai Soundararajan assumed office as Telangana’s second Governor on 8th September .
  • Chief Justice of High Court Justice R.S. Chauhan administered the oath of office to the new Governor at the Raj Bhavan in the presence of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

 

 

IMPORTANT DAYS

• International Literacy Day(ILD) was observed on September 8, 2019 with the theme ‘Literacy and Multilingualism’.
  • ILD was declared by the UNESCO on 26 October 1966 at 14th session of UNESCO’s General Conference & was celebrated for the first time in 1967.
