தமிழக அரசு தொழில்துறையின் கீழ் இயங்கும் தமிழ்நாடு தொழில் வழி காட்டி நிறுவனத்தின் இணையதளத்தில் “யாதும் ஊரே” என்ற தனி பிரிவு தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இவ்விழாவில் தமிழகத்தில் ரூ. 2,780 கோடி முதலீடு செய்து தொழில் தொடங்க புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தங்கள் கையெழுத்தாகின.

இந்தியா, ரஷியா இடையே வர்த்தகம், பாதுகாப்பு, அணுசக்தி, முதலீடு, விண்வெளி, எண்ணெய்-எரிவாயு, கல்வி உள்ளிட்ட துறைகளில் ஒத்துழைப்பை மேம்படுத்த 15 ஒப்பந்தங்கள் கையெழுத்தாகியுள்ளன.
ரஷியாவின் விளாடிவோஸ்டோக் நகரில் பிரதமர் மோடி மற்றும் ரஷிய அதிபர் விளாதிமிர் புதின் ஆகியோர் முன்னிலையில் கையெழுத்தாகின.
சென்னை – விளாடிவோஸ்டோக் இடையே தொலைத்தொடர்புகளை மேம்படுத்த கப்பல் போக்குவரத்து தொடங்கவும் ஒப்பந்தம் போடப்பட்டுள்ளன.
சேலம், கரூர், ஈரோடு, திருப்பூர், மேட்டுப்பாளையம் ஆகிய 5 ரயில் நிலையங்களுக்கு ஐ.எஸ்.ஒ (சுற்றுச்சூழல் மேலாண்மை திட்டம்) தரச் சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
தேசிய பசுமை தீர்ப்பாயத்தின் உத்தரவின்படி ரயில்வே வாரியம் அந்தந்த மண்டல ரயில்வே துறைகளுக்கு 24 வழிகாட்டுதல் பின்பற்றிட அறிவுறுத்தியது.
ஏற்கனவே சென்னை சென்ட்ரல் ரயில் நிலையத்திற்கு ஐ.எஸ்.ஒ தரசான்று வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
தொழில் நிறுவனங்களின் மின் நுகர்வை குறைக்க சிறப்பு மையம் ஒன்றை சென்னை ஐஐடி அமைத்துள்ளது.
தொழில் நிறுவனங்களின் மின் நுகர்வு, அதற்கான பயன்பாடு ஆகியவை மதிப்பீடு செய்யப்பட்டு அவற்றை எவ்வாறு குறைக்கலாம் என்பதற்கான பரிந்துறைகள் வழங்கப்படும்.

Salem, Karur, Erode, Tirupur and Mettupalayam railway station obtained the ISO-14001 certification for complying with national green tribunal (NGT) directives.
The certification was given away after water audit to see the efforts taken by the stations to minimize water consumption, energy audit to identify steps taken to reduce energy consumption and drive to check implementation of solid waste management, among other things.
IIT-Madras has launched a unit to assess and provide technological solutions to large and small scale industries in the manufacturing sector to help companies reduce energy consumption.
The ‘Industrial Energy Assessment Cell’, the unit has research scholars, postgraduate and undergraduate students and faculty members doing the assessment for companies for free of cost.
