• ஓவிய, சிற்பக் கலைஞர்களுக்கு தமிழக அரசின் “கலைச் செம்மல் விருதுகள்” நவம்பர் 1ம் தேதி முதல்வர் வழங்குகிறார்.
  • ஓவிய, சிற்பக் கலைகளை ஊக்கப்படுத்த மரபுவழி, நவீனபானி பிரிவுகளில் சாதனை புரிந்தவர்களுக்கு தமிழக அரசின் கலை பண்பாட்டுத் துறை வழங்குகிறது.
  • இவ்விருது பெறும் கலைஞர்களுக்கு செப்புப் பட்டயம் மற்றும் விருதுத் தொகையாக ரூ. 50 ஆயிரம் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

• இரு யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களாக ஜம்மு – காஷ்மீர், லடாக் அக்டோபர் 30-ம் தேதி பிரிக்கப்பட்டது.
  • இவ்விரு யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களிலும் காவல் துறையும் சட்டம் – ஒழுங்கும் மத்திய அரசின் நேரடி கட்டுபாட்டில் வந்துள்ளன.
  • ஜம்மு – காஷ்மீருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டிருந்த சிறப்பு அந்தஸ்து ஆகஸ்ட் 5-ம் தேதி ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டது.
  • அதன்படி அம்மாநிலத்திற்கென்று இருந்த தனிக்கொடி அரசமைப்புச் சட்டம், தனி தண்டனைச் சட்டம் (ரண்வீர் சட்டம்) ஆகியவை முடிவுக்கு வந்தன.

  • ஏழைகள், பெண்கள் ஆகியோரின் முன்னேற்றத்துக்காகவும், ஊட்டச்சத்து பற்றாக்குறையைப் போக்குவதற்கும் அந்த நிறுவனம் ஒடிஸாவின் 8 மாவட்டங்களில் பணிபுரிய உள்ளது.
