• இந்தியாவிலேயே முதல்முறையாக ஒப்பந்த சாகுபடி செய்யும் விவசாயிகள் நலன் காக்க புதிய சட்டத்தை தமிழக அரசு அமல்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
  • தமிழகத்தில் கரும்பு, இறைச்சி கோழி, மூலிகைப் பயிர்கள் போன்ற வகைகளில் சாகுபடி முறை பல ஆண்டுகளாக நடைமுறையில் உள்ளன.
  • புதிய சட்டத்தின்படி கொள்முதலாளர் அல்லது உணவு பதப்படுத்தும் நிறுவனத்துடன் விவசாயிகள் ஒப்பந்தம் செய்யும் போது, அன்றைய தினத்தின் விலையையே, பொருள்களை பரிமாற்றம் செய்யும் போது நிர்ணயிக்கும் வகையில் பாதுகாப்பு அளிக்கப்படுகிறது.

• தெற்கு இரயில்வே சார்பில் லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு மற்றும் கண்காணிப்பு விழிப்புணர்வு வாரத்தையொட்டி “முள்ளும் மலரும்”, “இடம்மாறிப் போச்சு” ஆகிய குறும்படங்களை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
  • இரயில்வேயில் பணிபுரியும் இடங்களில் நன்னெறி தொடர்பாக விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்த இந்த குறும்படங்கள் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
  • இரயில்களை பயன்படுத்துவோருக்கு 155210 என்னும் ஹெல்ப் லைன் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

 

• பெரு நிறுவனங்களின் சமூக பொறுப்பு (சி.எஸ்.ஆர்) திட்டத்தின்கீழ் சிறப்பாக செயல்பட்ட நிறுவனங்களுக்கு தேசிய விருது வழங்கும் விழா தில்லியில் நடைபெற்றது.
  • இந்திய நிறுவனங்கள் சட்டத்தின் கீழ் சி.எஸ்.ஆர் திட்டம் கடந்த 2014-ம் ஆண்டு அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது.
  • ஆண்டுதோறும் அக்டோபர் 2-ம் தேதி சி.எஸ்.ஆர் விருதுகள் வழங்கப்படும் என்று மத்திய அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது.

• வரலாற்றில் முதல்முறையாக கொல்கத்தாவில் இந்தியா-வங்கதேசம் பகலிரவு டெஸ்ட் ஆட்டம் நடைபெற உள்ளது.

NATIONAL NEWS

• In Himachal Pradesh Around 2,209 panchayats were brought under natural farming under Prakritik Kheti Khushshal Kissan Yojana. The State is promoting Organic and Zero Budget Natural Farming under the scheme.
  • Under the scheme, a target of 50,000 farmers have been set for the year 2019. So far 20,579 farmers have been trained.

• The state government of Odisha has signed a Letter of Understanding (LoU) with UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) to provide safe drinking water to every household in the state. • The joint military exercise of India and French troops is to be held between 31st October 2019 and 13th November 2019. It is a biennial exercise conducted alternately in India and France. The exercise is to be conducted at the Foreign Training Node at Mahajan Field Firing Range, Rajasthan.

 

 

INTERNATIONAL NEWS

• Bangladesh will hold the first phase of Bishwa Ijtema, the second largest congregation of Muslim community after Hajj, from January 10 to 12, 2020 in Dhaka. The second phase of the Ijtema will be held from January 17 to 19.
  • Bishwa Ijtema is an annual event which is held in a 160-acre field on the bank of the Turag River at Tongi on the outskirts of Dhaka since 1967.

BANKING NEWS

• The Reserve Bank has imposed a penalty of Rs 35 lakh on Tamilnad Mercantile Bank for violating norms on frauds classification and notification. The RBI said in a release that it imposed the fine via an order dated October 24, 2019.
  • It stated that the bank has been penalised for non-compliance with certain provisions of directions issued by RBI on frauds classification and reporting by commercial banks and select FIs directions 2016.

• President Ram Nath Kovind conferred the first National Corporate Social Responsibility Awards to the companies for their outstanding contribution in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
