மிகப்பெரிய பயோடெக்னாலஜி பங்குதாரர்களில் ஒருவரான குளோபல் பயோ-இந்தியா 2019, இந்தியாவில் முதல் முறையாக புதுடில்லியில் 2019 நவம்பர் 21 முதல் 23 வரை நடைபெறும்.
டிபிடி, அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப அமைச்சகம், இந்திய அரசு மற்றும் அதன் பொதுத்துறை நிறுவனம், பயோடெக்னாலஜி தொழில் ஆராய்ச்சி உதவி கவுன்சில் (Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC)) ஆகியவை இணைந்து இந்த நிகழ்வை ஏற்பாடு செய்கின்றன.

கப்பல் அமைச்சகம் 2019 செப்டம்பர் 16 முதல் 30 வரை ஸ்வச்ச்த பக்வாடாவைக் கடைப்பிடித்தது. மகாத்மா காந்தியின் 150 வது பிறந்த நாளை பிரமாண்டமாகக் கொண்டாடுவதற்காக பிரதமர் ஸ்ரீ நரேந்திர மோடி 2019 செப்டம்பர் 11 ஆம் தேதி முதல் ‘ஸ்வச்ச்தா ஹாய் சேவா’ பிரச்சாரத்தைத் தொடங்கினார்.

2020–ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான பட்டியலை உலக வங்கி வெளியிட்டது.
தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலில் மிகச் சிறந்த செயல்பாட்டைக் கொண்ட முதல் 10 நாடுகளில் இந்தியா தொடர்ந்து மூன்றாவது முறையாக இடம்பிடித்துள்ளது.

சீனாவுடன் வூஹான் நகரில் நடைபெற்று வரும் இப்போட்டியில் ஆடவர் ஈட்டி எறிதலில் இந்திய விமானப்படை வீரர் ஷிவ்பால் சிங்33மீ தூரம் எறிந்து தங்கப்பதக்கம் வென்றார்.
விரிவாக்கப்பட்ட கிளப் உலகக் கோப்பை கால்பந்து அறிமுக போட்டி வரும் 2021இல் சீனாவில் நடைபெறும் என பிஃபா தலைவர் இன்ஃபேன்டினோ தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

The Chinese scientists are constructing a huge cosmic ray observation station that is equivalent to 200 soccer fields in Sichuan province. The observatory is located 4,400 meters above sea level.

Google has officially announced that it has achieved quantum supremacy with its advanced processor that was able to surpass the world’s most powerful supercomputer.
Google says that its 54-bit Sycamore processor was able to perform a calculation in 200 seconds that would have taken the world’s most powerful supercomputer 10,000 years.

India was ranked 63rd in World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business ranking released on October 24, 2019. The ranking comes when the leading financing institutions including RBI, World Bank and IMF are slashing country’s growth forecasts. In 2014, India was ranked 142 among 190 countries.
As compared to 2018, India moved up 14 places in the ranking mainly due to several reforms in the trade and commerce sector.
