• 150 ரயில்களின் இயக்கத்தையும் 50 ரயில்வே நிலையங்களின் பராமரிப்பையும் தனியார் வசம் ஒப்படைப்பது குறித்த திட்டத்தை உருவாக்குவது தொடர்பான பணிக்குழுவை ரயில்வே அமைச்சகம் வியாழக்கிழமை அமைத்தது.
  • லக்னோ – புதுதில்லி இடையே கடந்த அக்.4 – ஆம் தேதி முதல் இயக்கப்பட்டு வரும் தேஜஸ் எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் தான் ரயில்வே துறை நேரடியாக இயக்காத முதல் ரயிலாகும்.

 

 

• தடை செய்யப்பட்ட துப்பாக்கிகளைத் தயாரிப்பவர்களுக்கு ஆயுள் தண்டனை அளிக்கும் வகையில், ஆயுதங்கள் சட்டத்தில் திருத்தம் கொண்டுவர மத்திய அரசு திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.

• அக்டோபர் 10, 2019 அன்று புது தில்லியில் யூனியன் பாங்க் ஆப் இந்தியாவுடன் (UBI) புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் அரசு மின் சந்தை (Government e- Marketplace GeM) கையெழுத்திட்டது. புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் போர்ட்டலில் பணமில்லா, காகிதமில்லாத மற்றும் வெளிப்படையான கட்டண முறையை எளிதாக்கும் மற்றும் அரசாங்க நிறுவனங்களுக்கு திறமையான கொள்முதல் முறையை உருவாக்கும்.

 

 

• SARAS Ajeevika Mela என்பது இந்திய அரசின் கிராமப்புற பெண்கள் சுய உதவிக்குழுக்களை கொண்டுவருவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு, இந்திய அரசின் கிராம அபிவிருத்தி அமைச்சகத்தின் (MoRD) தீண்டாயல் அந்தோடயா யோஜனா – தேசிய ஊரக வாழ்வாதாரத் திட்டம் (Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY – NRLM)) ஒரு முயற்சியாகும்.

• On October 9, 2019, Health System Strengthening Conditionality Report of States 2018-19 was released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW). 14 states and union territories (UTs) were penalized under National Health Mission (NHM) for their worst performances on various health parameters in 2018-19.
  • Worst performed states: 14 states and UTs with Bihar, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh , Mizoram, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh ,Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Sikkim received penalty due to non-fulfilment of conditionality.

 

 

• On October 10, 2019, Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) Harsh Vardhan inaugurated the 13th Conference of Central Council of Health and Family Welfare (CCHWF) for 2019 in New Delhi.

• On October 9, 2019, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi has released a commemorative stamp of Marshal of the Indian Air Force (IAF) late Arjan Singh in honor of his exemplary service to our nation.

• On October 9, the latest Henley & Partners Global Passport Index 2019 was released. In the report, India is currently ranked at 82nd position in 2019, which is one place down from its previous rank of 81 in 2018. Japan and Singapore both hold the most powerful passport by ranking 1st in the list.
