• மத்திய மனித வள மேம்பாட்டு அமைச்சர் ஸ்ரீ ரமேஷ் பேக்ரியால் நிஷாங்க் பிரதான் மந்திரி புதுமையான கற்றல் திட்டமான ‘டி.எச்.ஆர்.யூ.வி’ (DHRUV பெங்களுரில் உள்ள இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி அமைப்பு (இஸ்ரோ) தலைமையகத்திலிருந்து தொடங்கவுள்ளார்.
  • பிரதான் மந்திரி புதுமையான கற்றல் திட்டத்தின் நோக்கம் திறமையான மாணவர்கள் தங்கள் முழு திறனை உணர்ந்து சமூகத்திற்கு பங்களிக்க அனுமதிப்பதாகும்.

 

 

• நிதி ஆயோக்கின் பள்ளிக் கல்வித் தரக் குறியீட்டின் (School Education Quality Index – SEQI) படி, பள்ளி கல்வித் தரத்தைப் பொறுத்தவரை கேரளாவும் தமிழகமும் சிறந்த மாநிலங்களாக தங்கள் இடங்களைத் தக்க வைத்துக் கொண்டுள்ளன.
  • கேரளாவுக்கு 82.2 சதவிகித மொத்த மதிப்பீட்டுப் புள்ளியானது தரப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்தக் குறியீட்டில் தமிழ்நாடு 73.4 சதவிகித மதிப்பீட்டுப் புள்ளிகளைப் பெற்றுள்ளது.
  • ஒட்டு மொத்த செயல்திறனானது கர்நாடகா மற்றும் உத்தரகாண்ட் ஆகிய மாநிலங்களில் குறைந்திருக்கின்றது.

 

 

• மத்திய பாதுகாப்புத்துறை அமைச்சகமானது போரின் போது பாதிக்கப்பட்ட முப்படையைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களின் உற்றார் உறவினர்களுக்கான (NoK – Next of Kin) நிதித் தொகையை ரூ. 2 லட்சத்திலிருந்து ரூ. 8 லட்சமாக உயர்த்தியுள்ளது
  • இந்த நிதியானது போரின் போது பாதிக்கப்பட்டோருக்கான இராணுவ நல நிதியத்தின் (Army Battle Casualities Welfare Fund – ABCWF) கீழ் வழங்கப்பட இருக்கின்றது.

 

 

• கோவா அரசு பாரம்பரிய ‘டயல் 100’ ஐ புதிய ஒருங்கிணைந்த அவசர எண் ‘டயல் 112’ உடன் போலிஸ், தீயணைப்பு மற்றும் மருத்துவ அவசரநிலைகளுக்கு மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சகத்தின் (MHA) உதவியுடன் மாற்றியது. புதிய அவசரகால பதில் ஆதரவு அமைப்பு (ERSS) கோவா முதல்வர் பிரமோத் சாவந்த் அவர்களாhல் தொடங்கப்பட்டது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

 

 

சர்வதேச நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• 2019 ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 02 முதல் 15 வரை இந்தியாவிற்கும் கஜகஸ்தானிற்கும் இடையிலான கூட்டு ராணுவப் பயிற்சியான காசிந்த் 2019 என்ற பயிற்சியானது உத்தரகாண்ட் மாநிலத்தின் பித்தோரகார்கில் நடத்தப்படுகின்றது.
  • இது கஜகஸ்தான் மற்றும் இந்தியா ஆகியவற்றில் மாறி மாறி நடத்தப்படும் ஒரு வருடாந்திரப் பயிற்சியின் நான்காவது பதிப்பாகும்.

 

 

• இந்திய ராணுவத்துக்கும் மாலத்தீவுகளின் தேசிய பாதுகாப்புப் படையினருக்கும் இடையிலான கூட்டு இராணுவப் பயிற்சியின் பத்தாவது பதிப்பானது 2019 ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 07 முதல் 20 வரை மகாராஷ்டிராவின் புனேவில் உள்ள ஆந்த் ராணுவ நிலையத்தில் நடத்தப்படுகின்றது.
  • ஏகுவெரின் என்றால் மாலத்தீவின் திவேஹி மொழியில் ‘நண்பர்கள்’ என்று பொருள்படும்.
  • இதுபோன்ற ஒரு முதலாவது பயிற்சியானது 2009 ஆம் ஆண்டில் தொடங்கியது

• 2019ம் ஆண்டு வேதியியல் துறைக்கான நோபல் பரிசு மேம்படுத்தப்பட்ட லித்தியம் அயன் பேட்டரியைக் கண்டுபிடித்ததற்காக அமெரிக்காவின் ஜான் பி குட்எனாஃப், ஸ்டான்லி விட்டிங்காம், ஜப்பானைச் சேர்ந்த அகிரோ யோஷினோ ஆகியோருக்கு வேதியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கப்படும் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.

• மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளின் அதிகாரமளித்தல் திணைக்களம் (DEPwD) சமூக நீதி மற்றும் அதிகாரமளித்தல் அமைச்சகம் 2019 அக்டோபர் 10ஆம் தேதி “உலக மனநல தினத்தை” அனுசரிக்கிறது.

 

 

• நோய் குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துவதற்கும், அதன் அராய்ச்சி, நோயறிதல், தடுப்பு போன்றவற்றுக்கு நிதி திரட்டுவதற்கும் மார்பக புற்றுநோய் விழிப்புணர்வு மாதம் ஆண்டுதோறும் அக்டோபர் 1 முதல் அக்டோபர் 31 வரை அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்திய ஷட்லர் பி.வி சிந்து உலகின் முதல் ‘லைஃப் – சைஸ் ஆக்மென்ட் ரியாலிட்டி’ (ஏஆர்) தொழில்நுட்பத்தை “மார்பக ஆரோக்கியத்தின் ஏபிசி” செயலி அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார். இளஞ்சிவப்பு நாடா என்பது மார்பக புற்றுநோய் விழிப்புணர்வின் சர்வதேச அடையாளம் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

• On October 7, 2019 the External Affairs Minister(EAM) Shri Subrahmanyam Jaishankarinaugurated e-Vidyabharti (tele-education) and e-ArogyaBharti(Tele-Medicine) projects for all the 54 African countries in New Delhi on the 55th anniversary of Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation(ITEC) which is India’s flagship capacity building programme.

• On October 8, 2019 the World Economic Forum(WEF) released its report on 2019 Global Competitiveness Index 4.0. In the index, India was ranked 68th in the list, which is down by 10 places from its previous rank of 58 in 2018.
  • The index was topped by Singapore as the world’s most competitive economy by replacing the United States in second place.

• On October 8, 2019, The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (RSAS) has awarded the 2019 Nobel Prize in the field of chemistry to John B Goodenough (97), M Stanley Whittingham (77) and Akira Yoshino (71) for their pivotal role in making lithium ion batteries. The trio shares the prize money of 9 million kronor (£738,000).
