தேசிய நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• ‘தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலைகளில் விபத்துக்களை தடுக்கும் வகையில் உடனடி நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும். பள்ளங்கள்இ பழுதுகள் கண்டறியப்பட்டால் 48 மணி நேரத்திற்குள் சரி செய்ய வேண்டும்’ என மத்திய போக்குவரத்து மற்றும் நெடுஞ்சாலைத் துறை அமைச்சகம் அறிவுறுத்தியுள்ளது.
  • சாலை பாதுகாப்புக்கான வழிகாட்டு நெறிமுறைகள் தொடர்பாக நடத்தப்பட்ட பல்வேறு ஆய்வுக் கூட்டங்களில் தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலைகளில் இந்த நெறிமுறைகள் முறையாக கடைபிடிப்பதில்லை என சுப்ரீம் கோர்ட் குழு அதிருப்தி தெரிவித்தது.

 

 

• அக்டோபர் 4, 2019 அன்று, ஆந்திர மாநில முதல்வர் ஒய்.எஸ்.ஜெகன் மோகன் ரெட்டி ஆந்திராவின் எலுருவில் ‘ஒய்.எஸ்.ஆர் வாகனா மித்ரா திட்டத்தை’ அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளார். இதன் கீழ் ஒரு ஆட்டோ ரிக்ஷாவின் உரிமையாளர்-ஓட்டுநருக்கு அல்லது டாக்ஸிகாபிற்கு அரசாங்கம் ஆண்டுக்கு ரூ.10,000 நிதி உதவி வழங்கும். அவர்களின் காப்பீட்டு பிரீமியம், உரிமக் கட்டணம் மற்றும் பிற தொடர்ச்சியான செலவுகளைச் சந்திக்கவும்.

 

 

• மகாராஷ்டிராவின் மும்பையில் பாந்த்ரா வொர்லி சீலிங்க் அருகே அரேபிய கடலில் மிதக்கும் கூடைப்பந்து மைதானம் முதல்முறையாக இந்தியாவில் கொண்டு வரப்பட்டது.
  • இது தேசிய கூடைப்பந்து கழகம் (என்.பி.ஏ) விளையாட்டு 2019க்கு கொண்டு வரப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதில் சாக்ரமென்டோ கிங்ஸ் மற்றும் இந்தியானா பேஸர்ஸ் இடம் பெறுகின்றனர். இவர்கள் அக்டோபர் 4 &  5, 2019 அன்று டோம், என்.எஸ்.சி.ஐ (தேசிய விளையாட்டுக் கழகம்), மகாராஷ்டிராவின் மும்பையில் உள்ள சர்தார் வல்லபாய் படேல் (எஸ்.வி.பி) உட்புற மைதானம் அமைந்துள்ளது

• உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பு (WHO)உடன் இணைந்து இந்திய சுகாதார மற்றும் குடும்ப நல அமைச்சகம் (MoHFW) தேசிய சுகாதார அமைப்புகள் வள மையத்தை (NHSRC) மீண்டும் WHO ஒத்துழைப்பு மையமாக முன்னுரிமை மருத்துவ சாதனங்கள் மற்றும் சுகாதார தொழில்நுட்பக் கொள்கையாக நியமித்தது.

 

 

அறிவியல் நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• நிலவின் தரைப் பகுதியில் மின்காந்த துகள்கள் இருப்பதை, சந்திராயன் – 2 விண்கலத்தின், ‘ஆர்பிட்டர்’ கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளதாக, ‘இஸ்ரோ’ தரப்பில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. சந்திராயன் – 2 விண்கலத்தின் ஆர்பிட்டர் கருவி, தொடர்ந்து நிலவை சுற்றி வருகிறது.
  • இந்நிலையில் இஸ்ரோ வெளியிட்ட தகவலில், நிலவின் தரைப் பகுதியில், மின்காந்த துகள்கள் இருப்பதை, ஆர்பிட்டர் கண்டபிடித்துள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• The National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) was redesignated as the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Priority Medical Devices and Health Technology Policy. It was announced by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) of Government of India in collaboration with the WHO.

• Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh S. Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the first of its kind Village Secretariat system at Karapa village near Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.

• On October 3, 2019 the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Mauritius PravindJugnauth, jointly inaugurated the Metro Express and new ENT(ears, nose and throat) Hospital in Mauritius through a video link.
  • This ENT hospital is also the first paperless E-Hospital in Mauritius.

BANKING NEWS

• The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced its 4th Bi-Monthly Monetary Policy Rates for 2019-20. The three-day policy review meeting held on October 1, 3, 4 of 2019 consisting of 6 members of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) was headed by RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das.
  • Repo Rate was reduced by 25 basis points to 5.15% from 5.40% with immediate effect.

 

 

• A major government-owned commercial bank of India, UCO Bank’s (United Commercial Bank) managing director (MD) and CEO, A K Goel has launched three new digital products called , UCash, Digilocker and an app in Kolkata,West Bengal.
