• நீர்வளம் மற்றும் பருவமழை முன்னெச்சரிக்கை பணிகளுக்கு, நான்கு மாதங்களில், 811 கோடி ரூபாயை தமிழக அரசு ஒதுக்கியுள்ளது. இது மட்டுமின்றி மாநிலம் முழுவதும் நீர்நிலைகளை மேம்படுத்த வேண்டும் என முதல்வர் முடிவெடுத்துள்ளார். இதற்காக நபார்டு வங்கி கடனுதவியுடன் குடிமராமத்து திட்டம் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டு நடப்பாண்டில் இந்த பணிக்கு 499 கோடி ரூபாய் ஒதுக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது.

• ராஜஸ்தானின் மூன்று ரயில் நிலையங்கள் ஜெய்ப்பூர், ஜோத்பூர் மற்றும் துர்காபுரா, ரயில்வே அமைச்சகத்தால் 720 ரயில் நிலையங்களில் நடத்தப்பட்ட ரயில்வே தூய்மை ஆய்வு 2019 இல் முதலிடத்தைப் பிடித்தன.

• அக்டோபர் 1, 2019 அன்று மத்திய நுகர்வோர் விவகாரங்கள், உணவு மற்றும் பொது விநியோகத் துறை அமைச்சர் ஸ்ரீ ராம் விலாஸ் பாஸ்வான் புதுடெல்லி எல்லையில் ‘நுகர்வோர் செயலி’ தொடங்கினார். ‘டிஜிட்டல் இந்தியா’ நோக்கங்களை வலுப்படுத்தும் செயலி, மொபைல் சாதனங்கள் வழியாக நுகர்வோர் குறைகளுக்கு ஒரு நிறுத்த தீர்வை வழங்குகிறது.

• சஹாஜ் பிஜ்லி ஹர் கர் யோஜனா (Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana (Soubhagya)) இன் கீழ் தொலைதூர பகுதிகளில் உள்ள 5 லட்சத்தி 15 ஆயிரத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட வீடுகளுக்கு மின்சாரம் வழங்கிய பின்னர் தெலுங்கானா மாநிலம் இந்தியாவில் 100% முழுமையாக மின்மயமாக்கப்பட்ட மாநிலங்களில் ஒன்றாக மாறியுள்ளது. கிராமப்புற மின்மயமாக்கல் கார்ப்பரேஷன் லிமிடெட் (REC) இந்த திட்டத்திற்கான நோடல் நிறுவனம் ஆகும்.
  • இந்த திட்டத்தை பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி 2017 செப்டம்பரில் அறிவித்தார்.

• சமீபத்தில் வெளியான BWF (பேட்மிண்டன் உலக கூட்டமைப்பு) தரவரிசை 2019 இன் படி, உலக சாம்பியன் மகளிர் ஷட்லர் பி.வி.சிந்து (24) கடந்த இரண்டு வாரங்களில் மோசமான செயல்திறன் காரணமாக 6 வது இடத்தைப் பிடித்தார். ஆனால் பருப்பள்ளி காஷ்யப் (33) நல்ல செயல்திறன் மூலம் 25 வது இடத்தில் உள்ளார்.

• அக்டோபர் 1, 2019 அன்று சர்வதேச நாணய நிதியத்தின் (ஐ.எம்.எஃப்) குழுவில் இந்தியாவுக்கான நிர்வாக இயக்குநராக (இ.டி) பொருளாதார நிபுணர் சுர்ஜித் எஸ் பல்லாவை (Surjit S Bhalla) அரசாங்கம் நியமித்துள்ளது. உடல்நலக்குறைவு காரணமாக 2019 ஜூலை மாதம் காலமான இந்திய ரிசர்வ் வங்கியின் முன்னாள் ஆளுநர் சுபிர் கோகார்னை (Subir Gokarn) சுர்ஜித் வெற்றி பெற்றுள்ளார்.

NATIONAL NEWS

• On October 1, 2019 India has achieved one-crore LED(Light Emitting Diode) street light mark with the 1croreth LED street light switched on by union Power Minister R K Singh by a remote switch.
  • The lightings are installed under Street Light National Programme (SLNP) implemented by state-owned Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) and are to achieve 1.34 crore LED street lights installation by March 2020.

• In Assam, in order to gradually collect and remove the harmful plastics from the eco- system Bongaigaon Districtadministration has launched a campaign ‘Plants for Plastic’. The campaign aims to encourage people to collect and remove plastic from their houses, commercial establishments and educational institutions.
  • Under this unique initiative, any person can deposit one kilogram plastic in the Municipality office and get a valuable sapling for free.

 

 

• The three railway station of Rajasthan Jaipur, Jodhpur and Durgapura have topped the Railway Cleanliness Survey 2019, conducted at 720 railway stations by the Ministry of Railways.

APPOINTMENTS

• On October 1, 2019 the government has appointed economist Surjit S Bhalla as the Executive Director(ED) for India on the board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Surjit succeeds former Reserve Bank of India(RBI) deputy governor Subir Gokarn, who passed away recently in July 2019 due to illness.
