• தமிழகத்தின் புதிய மாவட்டமான தென்காசி மாவட்டத்தினை தொடங்கி வைத்தார் முதல்வர் பழனிச்சாமி அவர்கள்.
  • கடந்த ஜூலை மாதம் 18-ம் தேதி சட்டப்பேரவை விதி எண் 110-ன் கீழ் தென்காசியை தலைமையிடமாக கொண்டு புதிய மாவட்டம் உருவாக்கப்படும் என்று தமிழக அரசு அறிவித்திருந்தது.
  • தேர்வுத் துளிகள்
    • திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டம் ஆங்கிலேயர்கள் காலத்தில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.
      • 1986-ம் ஆண்டு எம்.ஜி.ஆர் திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டத்தில் இருந்து தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டம் உதயமானது.
      • தென்காசி மாவட்டத்தில் 2 வருவாய் கோட்டங்களும், 8 வட்டங்களும், 10 ஊராட்சி ஒன்றியங்களும், 224 கிராம ஊராட்சிகளும், 5 சட்டபேரவை தொகுதிகளும் உள்ளடங்கியுள்ளன.

 

 

தேசிய நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• பயங்கரவாதத்துக்கு எதிரான ஒருங்கிணைந்த செயல்பாடு – இந்தியா – உஸ்பெகிஸ்தான் இடையே ஒப்பந்தம் கையெழுத்தானது.
  • இது தொடர்பான ஒப்பந்தம் இந்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சர் அமித் ஷா மற்றும் உஸ்பெகிஸ்தான் உள்துறை அமைச்சர் புலாத் போபோ ஜோனாவ் ஆகியோர் முன்னிலையில் கையெழுத்தானது.
  • தேர்வுத் துளிகள்
    • பயங்கரவாதத்துக்கு எதிரான நடவடிக்கைகள், குற்றங்களை தடுப்பது, கடத்தல் சம்பவங்களை தடுப்பது உள்ளிட்ட துறைகளில்; ஒப்பந்தம் போடப்பட்டது.

  • நீதித்துறை சேவைக்கான தேர்வு எழுத 23 வயது பூர்த்தியடைந்திருக்க வேண்டும் என்று இருந்தது.
  • இந்நிலையில் அந்த தேர்வெழுதும் வயதை 21-ஆக குறைத்து ராஜஸ்தான் உயர்நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டது.

• Software giant Microsoft has launched its “K-12 Education Transformation Framework” to facilitate comprehensive digital transformation of schools in India.  So far, this framework model has been adopted by education leaders in more than 50 countries.

• The Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) on November 21, 2019, confirmed that a neuro muscular illness called Avian Botulism is the reason for mass mortality of migratory birds in Sambhar Lake in Rajasthan.
  • The doctors say that the birds were suffering from Avian Botulism that was caused due to a toxin produced by bacterial strain.

• NASA Unveils an early version of its first all-electric experimental aircraft, the X-57 Maxwell. Adapted from an Italian-made Tecnam P2006T twin-engine propeller plane, the X-57 has been under development since 2015.
  • The target of the agency is to fly this aeroplane in late 2020.

APPOINTMENTS  

• Lieutenant Shivangi become first woman pilot of Indian Navy will join Naval operations. She will join after naval operations on completion of operational training at the Southern Naval Command in Kochi, Kerala on December 2, 2019 two days ahead of Navy Day (observed on December 4).

ECONOMY

• Union Government will launch India’s first fixed income Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) comprising debt securities of large central public sector enterprises (PSUs) by mid-December 2019. It will comprise only AAA-rated papers of the PSU companies. It is expected to have a size of Rs 15,000 crore to Rs 20,000 crore.
