• கரோனா நோய்த்தொற்று இந்தியாவில் சமூகப் பரவலாக உருவெடுக்கவில்லை என்று மத்திய சுகாதாரத் துறை அமைச்சகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
  • நோய்த்தொற்று பரவல் 100 நபர்களில் இருந்து 1000 நபர்களாக அதிகரிக்க 12 நாள்கள் வரை எடுத்துக் கொண்டுள்ளதால், இது சமூகப் பரவலாக மாறவில்லை என்று அமைச்சகம் விளக்கமளித்துள்ளது.

  • நாட்டில் கரோனா நோய்த்தொற்று (கொவைட்-19) பரவல் நாளுக்கு நாள் தீவிரமடைந்து வருகிறது. அந்த நோய்த்தொற்றால் பாதிக்கப்படுபவர்களுக்கு மூச்சு விடுவதில் சிரமம் ஏற்படும்.
  •  அதன் காரணமாக அவர்களுக்கு செயற்கை முறையில் ஆக்ஸிஜனை அளித்து, கார்பன் டை ஆக்ஸடை வெளியேற்றுவதற்கான கருவியைப் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டிய அவசியம் ஏற்படும்

    • கரோனா நோய்த்தொற்று காரணமாக உலகம் முழுவதும் 785,777 பேர் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். 37,815 பேர் உயிரிழந்துவிட்டனர்.
    • அமெரிக்காவில் நோய்த்தொற்றால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 1.64 லட்சமாக அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

• கரோனா நோய்த் தொற்று பரவலால் ஓராண்டுக்கு ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்ட ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகள் வரும் 2021 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 23 முதல் ஆக.8-ஆம் தேதி வரையும், பாராலிம்பிக் போட்டிகள் ஆக. 24 முதல் செப். 5 வரையும் நடைபெறும் என ஐஓசி , போட்டி அமைப்புக் குழு உள்ளிட்டவை அறிவித்துள்ளன.

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created of assistance an emergency situation relief fund Namely.
  • Prime Minister’s Citizan Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situation Fund (PM – Cares) where people can contribute and help in the govi’s fight against Coronovirus. This newly created public Charitable trust has PM Narendra Modi as the chairman and defense minister, home minister and the finance minister as its member.
  • People can visit pmindia.gov.in to make contributions using credit and debit cards, UPI, Net banking and RTGS.

• The mega bank consolidation Plan is all set to come into force from April 1, 2020. The branches of merging banks will operate as of the banks which those have been amalgamated.

  • On March 30.2020. The Punjab National Bank (PNB) has launched a new logo before the moga merger of the Bank. With the united Bank of India (UBI) and the oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) comes into force from 1^st April 2020. The new logo will have signages of all the 3 Bank.
  • With the merger, PNB will be the 2^nd largest bank in the country with a total Business and sizo of Rs. 17.94 lakh core. Currently, State Bank of India is the largest Bank in the country.
