• தீயணைப்பு மற்றும் மீட்புப் பணிகளுக்கான மாணவ, மாணவியர் படை உருவாக்கப்படும் என்று பேரவையில் முதல்வர் எடப்பாடிகே. புழனிசாமி அறிவித்தார்.
  • தீயணைப்புத் துறை பணியாளர்களுக்கு 15 மற்றும் 25 ஆண்டுகள் பணி முடித்தவுடன் அடுத்த பதவிக்கு தரம் உயர்த்தப்படும்.
  • திருச்சி மற்றும் கோயம்புத்தூர் மாவட்டங்களுக்கு 54 மீட்டர் கொண்ட இரண்டு வான் நோக்கி உயரும் ஊர்திகள் தலா ரூ.15 கோடி செலவில் கொள்முதல் செய்யப்படும். தீயணைப்பு வீரர்களின் வீரவணக்க நினைவுச் சின்னம் தலைமையகத்தில் ரூ. 25 லட்சம் செலவில் அமைக்கப்படும். சின்னம் மற்றும் தொப்பி அரசு செலவில் வழக்கப்படும் என்றார்.

    • பணியாற்றும் போது உயிரிழப்பு ஏற்பட்டால் வழங்கப்படும் தொகை ரூ.10 லட்சத்தில் இருந்து ரூ.15 லட்சமாக உயர்த்தி வழங்கப்படும்.
      நிரந்திர ஊனமடைவோருக்கு ரூ.4 லட்சம் என்பது ரூ. 8 லட்சமாக உயர்த்திவழங்கப்படும்.
      சாதாரணகாயங்கள் அடைவோருக்குரூ. 10 ஆயிரத்திலிருந்து ரூ.20 ஆயிரமாக உயர்த்தி வழங்கப்படும்.

 

 

• கொரோனா வைரஸ் தடுப்பு பணிக்காக தொகுதி வளர்ச்சி நிதியிலிருந்து ரூ.3 கோடி வழங்க அன்பு மணிராமதாஸ் ஓப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளார்.

    • முதல் கட்டமாகரூ.3 கோடி ஓதுக்கி உள்ளதாகவும்,தேவைப்பட்டால் கூடுதல் நிதி ஓதுக்கப்படும் மருத்துவர்களுக்கான பாதுகாப்பு கவசங்கள், கொரோனா சோதனை கருவிவாங்க நிதியை பயன்படுத்தலாம் எனஅவர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

• சீனாவில் யுன்னான் மாகாணத்தில் ‘ஹன்டாவைரஸ்’ எனப்படும் புதியவகை வைரஸ் பாதிப்பால் ஒருவர் உயிரிழந்தார். இதுகுறித்து அந்த நாட்டிலிருந்து வெளியாகும் ‘குளோபல் டைம்ஸ் நாளிதழ் தெரிவித்துள்ளதாவது: கெரோனாவைரஸ் போல் ஹன்டாவைரஸ் காற்றில் பரவாது எனவும், எலியின் மூலம் பரவும் அந்தவைரஸ், பாதிக்கப்பட்ட எலியின் எச்சில், கழிவுகள் மூலம் மட்டுமே பரவும் எனவும் கூறப்படுகிறது.

    • பொதுவாக ஒரு மனிதரிடமிருந்து மற்றொரு மனிதருக்கு ஹன்டாவைரஸ் எளிதில் பரவாது என்பதால், அதுகரோனாவைரஸ் அளவுக்குபெரும் பாதிப்பை ஏற்படுத்தாது என்று நிபுணர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

 

 

• கெரோனா தொற்று தடுப்பு முன்னெச்சரிக்கையாக விடப்பட்டிருக்கும் நீண்ட விடுமுறையை டிஜிட்டல் கற்றல் மூலம் பயனுள்ளதாக ஆக்கிக் கொள்ள ஏற்ககெனவே உருவாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் முழுவதும் கட்டணமில்லாத மத்திய அரசின் டிஜிட்டல் கற்றல் வலைதளங்களைப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ளுமாறும் மத்திய மனித வளமேம்பாட்டு அமைச்சகம் கேட்டுக்கொண்டுள்ளது.
  • இதில் பள்ளிகல்விக் கெனதிகூஷா, இ-பாடசாலா, தேசியதிறந்த வெளிகல்வி போன்றவலைதளங்கள் உருவாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன. இதற்கான செயலியை கூகுள் பிளே ஸ்டோரிலிருந்து பதிவிறக்கம் செய்துகொள்ளலாம்.

    • திகூஷா: இதில் திக்ஷா வலைதளத்தில் ஓன்றாம் வகுப்பு முதல் பிளஸ்-2 வரையிலான சி.பி.எஸ்.இ, என்.சி.இ.ஆர்.டி. மற்றும் மாநிலபாடத் திட்டங்களின் கீழ் உள்ள 80,000-க்கும் அதிகமானபாட புத்தகங்களும் டிஜிட்டல் வடிவில் இடம்பெற்றிருக்கின்றன.
    • இ-பாடசலா: என்.சி.இ.ஆர்.டி. உருவாக்கியுள்ள இ-பாடசாலா வலைதளத்தில் ஓன்றாம் வகுப்புமுதல் பிளஸ்-2 வரையிலான அனைத்து பாடங்களுக்கும் 1,886 ஆடியோ வடிவிலானபாடங்கள், 2,000 விடியோவடிவிலானபாடங்கள் மட்டுமின்றி 696 இ-புத்தங்களும் பல்வேறுமொழிகளில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.

 

 

• கெரோனாவைரஸ் பாதிப்பு எதிரொலியாக டோக்கியோ ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகள் ஓராண்டுக்கு ஓத்திவைக்கப்படுவதாக சர்வதேச ஒலிம்பிக் கமிட்டி, ஜப்பான் போட்டிஅமைப்புக் குழு அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக அறிவித்துள்ளன.
  • வரும் ஜூலை 24 முதல் ஆகஸ்ட் 9-ஆம் தேதிவரை டோக்கியோவில் ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகள் நடைபெறுவதாக இருந்தது. இதற்காக பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான கோடி செலவில் புதிய விளையாட்டு மைதானங்கள் அமைத்து ஏற்பாடுகளை தீவிரமாக செய்துள்ளது ஜப்பான் அரசு.
  • செய்திதுளிகள்
    • போட்டிகளை நடத்துவதற்காக ஜப்பான் மொத்தம் ரூ.95 ஆயிரம் கோடியை செலவிட்டுள்ளது.
    • இந்நிலையில் 2021ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குபோட்டிகள் ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டதால். ரூ.45 ஆயிரம் கோடிஅளவுக்கு நஷ்டம் ஏற்படும் எனகணக்கிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• The National Task Force for the novel coronavirus constituted by Indian Council of Medical Research(ICMR) has recommended the use of hydroxychloroquine for healthcare workersor persons staying with and caring for positive COVID-19 patients.This protocol has been approved by the Drug Controller General of India (DGCI),  V. G. Somani.
• The protocol has mandated that hydroxychloroquineis to be taken only for prophylaxis or prevention. Its use is restricted for emergency situations.

• On March 23, 2020, Reliance had set up the first hospital of India that will operate exclusively to treat Corona Virus patients. The Reliance Group of Companies in collaboration with Brihanmumbai Municipal corporation has set up a COVID-19 Centre at the Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai.The Negative Room Pressure technology is used to isolate patients.

• On March 23, 2020, The Government of Sri Lankahas pledged to contribute $5 millionto the SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) Corona Emergency Fund proposed by Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi on March 15, 2020 with an initial grant of $10 million from India to deal with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

• The World Health Organization recently launched a mega trial of four most promising corona virus treatments. The organization focuses on repurpose drugs that have already been approved to be safe rather than finding new compounds from the scratch.
• The WHO is testing four most promising treatments to combat the virus. It includes
  • Remdesivir, an anti-viral compound
  • Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine, the Malarial medications
  • Combination of Lopinavir and Ritonavir, HIV drugs
  • Interferon-beta along with the combination of Lopinavir and Ritonavir
