• திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டம், களக்காடு புலிகள் காப்பகத்தின் துணை இயக்குநராக மு.இளங்கோ நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்
  • களக்காடு முண்டந்துறை புலிகள் காப்பகம் 1988ஆம் ஆண்டு நிறுவப்பட்டது. இது அகஸ்த்தியர் மலையில் அமைந்துள்ளது.
  • செய்தி துளிகள்
    • சமீபத்தில் திண்டுக்கல் சிறுமலை காப்புகாடு, அழிந்து வரும் தேவாங்கு இனத்தின் பிறப்பிடமாக உள்ளது. அங்கே வரும் தேவாங்கு இனத்தையும் மற்ற உயிரினங்களையும் பாதுகாக்கும் வகையில் சிறு வன உயிரின பூங்கா அமைக்கப்படவுள்ளதாக முதல்வர் கே.பழனிசாமி அறிவித்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

• இந்தியா நானோ மாநாடு மற்றும் கண்காட்சியானது பெங்களுரில் நடத்தப்பட்டது.
  • இந்த மாநாட்டில் நானோ தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையில் கல்வியாளர்கள் மற்றும் நிறுவனங்களால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட தொழில்நுட்பங்கள் மற்றும் தயாரிப்புகள் ஆகியவை காண்பிக்கப்பட்டன.
  • செய்தி துளிகள்
    • இந்த மாநாடானது மத்திய அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறை, கர்நாடக அரசு மற்றும் ஜவஹர்லால் நேரு மேம்படுத்தப்பட்ட அறிவியல் ஆராய்ச்சி மையம் (Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advance Scientific Research – JNCASR) ஆகியவற்றால் இணைந்து ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது.
    • JNCASR ஆனது இந்திய அரசின் அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையின் தன்னாட்சி பெற்ற ஒரு நிறுவனமாகும்.

 

 

• கொரோனா வைரஸ் (COVID – 19) பரவலை கட்டுபடுத்துவதற்காக இந்திய அரசு “தொற்று நோய் சட்டம் -1897” –ஐ அமல்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
  • இந்த சட்டம், 2015ஆம் ஆண்டில் சண்டிகரில் மலேரியா மற்றும் டெங்கு பரவியபோதும், 2018-ஆம் ஆண்டு குஜராத்தில் காலரா பாதிப்பின்போதும் அமல்படுத்தப்பட்டது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

    • COVID -19 –ஐ WHO உலக அளவிலான தொற்றுநோயாக (Pandemic) அறிவித்துள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

அறிவியல் நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• பள்ளி மாணவர்களிடம் விண்வெளி அறிவியல் குறித்த ஆர்வத்தை ஏற்படுத்துவதற்காக இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆய்வு நிறுவனம் (ISRO) “யுவிகா” என்ற இளம் விஞ்ஞானி திட்டத்தை கடந்த ஆண்டு அறிமுகம் செய்தது.
  • இந்த திட்டத்தின் கீழ், மாணவர்களுக்கு விஞ்ஞானிகளுடன் கலந்துரையாடல் மற்றும் செயல்முறை பயிற்சிகளும் அளிக்கப்படும்.

• On the occasion of 130th Foundation Day of National Archives of India (NAI) an exhibition on Jallianwala Bagh is organised at the premises of National Archives, New Delhi. This exhibition is an endeavour to commemorate the centenary of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre covering a period from (1915-50).
  • The present exhibition is primarily presented with the help of original and digital copies of archival documents relating to the Jallianwala bagh Massacre available in National Archives of India.

• Under its National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), the Department of Science and Technology (DST) has sanctioned Rs 7.25 crore to IIT Mandi to establish a Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) at the Institute.
  • The major focus of the TIH in IIT Mandi will be on human-computer interaction (HCI) research, where projects will focus on design and development of computer technology (interfaces) and the study of interaction between humans (users) and computers.

 

 

• On March 13, 2020, the Union Cabinet approved to withdraw the MEIS (Merchandise Export from India) Scheme in phases. It is later to be replaced with RoDTEP (Remission of Duties or Taxes on Export Product) scheme.
  • The MEIS is being replaced as the exports are to fall further due to Corona Virus outbreak.
