  • தில்லி கிளவுட் பிராந்தியமானது சேவைத்துறை பிரச்சனைகளிலிருந்துப் பாதுகாப்பு அளிப்பதற்காக மூன்று மண்டலங்களைக் கொண்டிருக்கும்
  • செய்தி துளிகள் :
    • முதலாவது இந்திய மேகக் கணினிப் பகுதியானது மும்பையில் 2017ஆம் ஆண்டில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது.

• விண்வெளியில் இடம் பெற்றிருக்கும் செயற்கை கோள்கள், செயலிழந்து சுற்றிவரும் செயற்கைகோள் கழிவுகள் இருக்குமிடத்தை துல்லியமாக அறியும் தொழில்நுட்பத்தை மேம்படுத்தும் முயற்சியில் இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆய்வு மையம் (ISRO) ஈடுபட்டுள்ளது.
  • இதற்கான புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் ISRO -வும் அமெரிக்காவின் டெக்சாஸ் பல்கலைக்கழகமும் கையெழுத்திட்டுள்ளது.

  • பிரதான் மந்திரி பாரதிய ஜனசாதி பரியோஜனாவின் சாதனைகளை நினைவுகூரும் வகையில் இந்த நாள் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
  • இந்த யோஜனாவின் கீழ் இந்தியா முழுவதிலும் 700 மாவட்டங்களில் உலகின் மிகப்பெரிய சில்லறை மருந்து சங்கிலியான கேந்திராக்கள் தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

• India and the United States have signed a Rs 1200 crore deal for acquiring missile protection suites for the new Boeing VVIP planes that India is acquiring for the President and the Prime Minister. The new aircraft will be used for both international and domestic visits of the President and Prime Minister.
  • The missile protection suites on the two Boeing-777 Extended Range planes will provide it the capability to fend off any missile attacks.

• The Fourth Global Ayurveda Festival, GAF will be held at Kochi in Kerala from 16th to 20th May. A curtain raiser event was organized in New Delhi this evening for the GAF.

• On March 6, 2020, the Lok Sabha passed Mineral Laws (Amendment) bill, 2020. The bill aims to amend Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) act, 1957 and also Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Act, 2015.
  • The bill was passed in the parliament without discussion. This was because of the constant uproar of the opposition over death of 52 people in the Delhi Violence over Citizenship Amendment Act.
