தமிழக நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• பல்வேறு துறைகளின் மானியக் கோரிக்கைகள் மீதான விவாதத்துக்காக தமிழக சட்டப்பேரவை ஏப்ரல் 9-ம் தேதி வரை நடைபெறும் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
  • 2020-2021 நிதியாண்டுக்கான தமிழக பட்ஜெட் கடந்த 14ஆம் தேதி தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது. அதைத்தொடர்ந்து 17ஆம் தேதி மீண்டும் தொடங்கிய பட்ஜெட் கூட்டத்தொடர் 20ஆம் தேதி, குறிப்பிடப்படாமல் ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டது.
  • இதையடுத்து பட்ஜெட் கூட்டத்தொடரின் 2ஆவது அமர்வு மார்ச் 9ஆம் தேதி தொடங்க உள்ளதாக சட்டப்பேரவை செயலர் சீனிவாசன் அறிவித்தார்.
  • செய்தித் துளிகள்
    • பட்ஜெட் மீதான விவாதம் கடந்த 17ம் தேதி முதல் 20ம் தேதி வரை 4 நாட்கள் நடைபெற்றது. இந்தக் கூட்டத்தொடரில்தான், காவிரி டெல்டா பகுதியை பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட வேளாண் மண்டலமாக அறிவிப்பதற்கான சட்டம் கொண்டு வரப்பட்டு நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது.

 

 

இந்திய நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• ஆர்மீனியாவுக்கு ரூ.288.70 கோடி (சுமார் ரூ.40 மில்லியன் டாலர்) மதிப்பிலான ஆயுதங்களைக் கண்டறியும் ரேடார்களை வழங்கும் ஒப்பந்தத்தை இந்தியா பெற்றுள்ளது. ரஷியா, போலந்து ஆகிய நாடுகளும் இந்த ஒப்பந்தத்துக்கான போட்டியில் இருந்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
  • இந்திய பாதுகாப்பு ஆய்வு மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு நிறுவனத்தின் (டிஆர்டிஓ) மூலம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டு ‘பெல்’ நிறுவனம் மூலம் தயாரிக்கப்படும் ‘ஸ்வாதி’ என்ற பெயரிலான, ஆயுதங்களைக் கண்டறியும் ரேடார்களை ஆர்மீனிய நாட்டுக்கு விற்பனை செய்யும் ஒப்பந்தத்தை இந்தியா பெற்றுள்ளது.

    • ஜம்மு-காஷ்மீர் எல்லையில் இந்திய ராணுவம் இந்த ரேடார்களை ஏற்கெனவே பயன்படுத்தி வருகிறது.
    • முழுவதும் இந்தியாவில் தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு பாதுகாப்புத்துறை தளவாடத்துக்கு சர்வதேச அளவில் சந்தை திறந்துள்ளது புதிய வாய்ப்பாக அமைந்துள்ளது.

 

 

• பிப்ரவரி மாதம் சரக்கு-சேவை வரி (ஜிஎஸ்டி) முறை மூலம் ரூ.1.05 லட்சம் கோடி வசூலாகியிருப்பதாக மத்திய அரசு தெரிவித்தது. கடந்த மாதம் ஜிஎஸ்டியாக மொத்தம் ரூ.1,05,367 கோடி வசூலிக்கப்பட்டது.
  • இதில், மத்திய அரசின் ஜிஎஸ்டி (சிஜிஎஸ்டி) ரூ.20,569 கோடி, மாநில அரசின் ஜிஎஸ்டி (எஸ்ஜிஎஸ்டி) ரூ.27,348 கோடி, ஒருங்கிணைந்த ஜிஎஸ்டி (ஐஜிஎஸ்டி) ரூ.48,503 கோடி, செஸ் வரி ரூ.8,947 கோடி ஆகியவை அடங்கும்.
  • செய்தித் துளிகள்
    • கடந்த ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி மாதம் வசூலான ஜிஎஸ்டி தொகையைக் காட்டிலும் இது 8 சதவீதம் அதிகமாகும்.
    • அதே நேரம் கடந்த மாத ஜிஎஸ்டி வசூலை (ரூ.1.10 லட்சம் கோடி) காட்டிலும் இது குறைவாகும்.

• உலகம் முழுவதும் மார்ச் 03ஆம் தேதி வனவிலங்குகள் தினம் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. அழிந்துவரும் வன விலங்குகளைக் காப்பதற்காகவும், இயற்கைச் சமநிலை மாறுபடாதிருக்க விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தும் விதமாகவும் இந்த தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
  • 68வது ஐ.நா பொதுச் சபை கூட்டத்தில் கடந்த டிசம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி அரிய வனவிலங்குகளின் சர்வதேச வர்த்தக சாசனத்தில் அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக ஒப்பந்தம் செய்யப்பட்டதையடுத்து, இந்த தினத்தை ‘உலக வனவிலங்கு’ தினமாக ஐ.நா அறிவித்தது

 

 

• ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் மார்ச் 3 ஆம் தேதி உலக செவிப்புலன் நாள் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது .
  • காது கேளாமை மற்றும் காது கேளாமை எவ்வாறு தடுப்பது மற்றும் உலகெங்கிலும் காது மற்றும் செவிப்புலன் பராமரிப்பை எவ்வாறு மேம்படுத்துவது என்பது குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்த ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் மார்ச் 3 ஆம் தேதி உலக செவிப்புலன் தினம் நடத்தப்படுகிறது.

NATIONAL NEWS

• In a significant development, Indian Railways has launched its first ‘Restaurant on Wheels’ at the circulating area of Asansol railway station for the use of passengers as well as the general public. Indian Railways is amongst the biggest train systems in the world, and it operates around 13,000 passenger trains every day.
  • It was inaugurated by Union Minister and Asansol MP Babul Supriyo.

• The Indian Meteorological Department has announced that months of March, April and May are to be warmer than normal. The heat waves are to prevail over the heat wave zones of India Heat Wave Zone.

• The US signed a historic peace deal with the Taliban in Doha to end America’s presence in Afghanistan in a phased manner. India attended the historic event as Observer. India has been an important stakeholder in the peace and reconciliation process in Afghanistan.
  • The landmark peace deal will see a phased withdrawal of thousands of US soldiers from Afghanistan.

AWARDS

• Assam’s eminent environmental activist Jadav Payeng will be awarded the Swami Vivekananda Karmayogi Award for his efforts through reforestation to create a man-made forest. The award ceremony will be organized by My Home India, a nongovernmental organization that aims to bring emotional integration between people from different parts of India.
  • Union environment minister Prakash Javadekar handed over the award to Payeng on Saturday.
