• தமிழ் நாட்டில் உள்ள ராமநாதபுரம் மற்றம் விருநகர் ஆகிய மாவட்டங்கள் வளர்ச்சியை நோக்கிச் செல்லும் மாவட்டங்கள் என மத்திய அரசால் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• நாட்டு மாடுகள் வளர்ப்பில் சிறந்து விளங்குவோருக்கு மத்திய அரசால் வழங்கும் நேஷனல் கோபால் ரத்னா விருது ( National Gopal Ratna) கோயம்புத்தூரில் உள்ள தீரஜ் ராம்கிருஷ்ணா என்பவருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

• பெண்ளுக்கு எதிரான குற்றச் செயல்களை தடுப்பதற்காக திரிபுரா மாநில அரசு 24/7 Mobile Police service எனும் அமைப்பை எற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

• மேசிடோனியா குடியரசு எனும் நாடு தனது பெயரை வடக்கு மேசிடோனியா என மாற்றம் செய்துள்ளது.

• ரஷ்யாவானது தனது Global Navigation system  தொடர்பான GLONASS –M எனும் செயற்கை கோளை SOYUZ – 2.1b ராக்கெட் மூலம் செலுத்தியுள்ளது.

  • The missile, known for firing a salvo of 12 rockets in just 44 seconds, has completed the initial trial, will undergo developmental trials next month.

• On June 17,2018 Russia successfully launched a Glonass- Mpositioning satellite using a Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket.
  • The Glonass network provides real-time positioning data for surface, sea and airborne objects around the globe, at an accuracy reportedly at par with the U.S. Global Positioning System.
