• கரக்பூரில் உள்ள இந்தியத் தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு குழுவினர் முதியோர்களுக்காக ஆண்ட்ராய்டு செயலி ஒன்றை வடிவமைத்துள்ளனர்.
  • CARE4U என்ற இந்தச் செயலியானது பராமரிப்பாளரை முதியோருடன் இணைக்கின்றது. இது “முதியோருக்கு மருந்தை நினைவூட்டல்” வசதியைக் கொண்டுள்ளது.
  • இந்தச் செயலி மருந்து தொடர்பான முந்தையக் கணக்குகள், எதிர்விளைவு தொடர்பானவை, SOS பொத்தான், நிகழ்நேர இடம் குறித்த கண்காணிப்பு மற்றும் பிறவற்றைக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

 

 

• மத்திய பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சின் ஸ்ரீ ராஜ்நாத் சிங் பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சகத்தின் பல்வேறு முயற்சிகள் மற்றும் திட்டங்களை திறம்பட கண்காணிக்க உதவும் வகையில் பாதுகாப்பு உற்பத்தித் துறையின் (DDP) டாஷ்போர்டைத் தொடங்கினார்.
• இது பொது மக்களுக்கு ddpdashboard.gov.in இல் கிடைக்கிறது.

 

 

விளையாட்டு நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• கெலோ இந்தியா இளைஞர் விளையாட்டு (KIYG) இன் மூன்றாம் பதிப்பு 2020 ஜனவரி 18-30 முதல் அசாமின் குவஹாத்தியில் நடைபெறும் என்று மத்திய விளையாட்டு அமைச்சர் கிரென் ரிஜிஜு தெரிவித்தார்.
  • இது இந்திய ஒலிம்பிக் சங்கம் (IOA)இ மற்றும் பள்ளி விளையாட்டு கூட்டமைப்பு (SGFI) ஆகியவை அசாம் மாநிலத்துடன் இணைந்து நடத்துகிறது.

 

 

அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பம்

 

• நெருங்கிய நட்பு நாடான சீனாவின் செயற்கைக்கோள் ஏவுதல் வசதிகளைப் பயன்படுத்தி 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டில் தனது முதல் விண்வெளி வீரரை விண்வெளிக்கு அனுப்பப்போவதாக பாகிஸ்தான் அறிவித்துள்ளது.

• 2018-2019 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரவு செலவுத் திட்ட உரையில் அப்போதைய நிதியமைச்சர் திரு அருண் ஜெட்லி வெளியிட்ட அறிவிப்பைத் தொடர்ந்து, உத்திரபிரதேசம் மற்றும் தமிழ்நாட்டில் 2 பாதுகாப்பு தொழில்துறை தாழ்வாரங்கள் அமைக்க அரசு முடிவு செய்துள்ளது. இது மைக்ரோ, சிறு மற்றும் நடுத்தர நிறுவனங்களின் (எம்.எஸ்.எம்.இ) தேவைகளை பூர்த்தி செய்யும்.

  • அனைத்து மின்சார வாகனங்களின் (EV) ஜி.எஸ்.டி சதவீதம் 12மூ முதல் 5மூ வரை குறைக்கப்பட்டது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

• Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh launched here today a Dashboard of Department Defence Production (DDP), Ministry of Defence, to help in effective monitoring of various initiatives and schemes of the department.

• Pakistan on Thursday announced that it will send its first astronaut to space in 2022 using close ally China’s satellite launching facilities.
  • Pakistan’s decision came as India on Monday successfully launched its second lunar mission Chandrayaan-2.

• On July 27, 2019, the 36^thGoods & Service Tax (GST) Council Meeting was held in New Delhi Via Video Conference under the chairmanship of Union Finance & Corporate Affairs Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman.
  • It was attended by Union Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs Shri Anurag Thakur, Revenue Secretary Shri Ajay Bhushan Pandey and other senior officials of the Ministry of Finance.

 

 

SPORTS

• Union Minister of Sports Kiren Rijiju announced that 3rd edition of Khelo India Youth Games will be held in Guwahati, Assam between 18-30 January 2020.
  • Khelo India programme’s inaugural edition was held in New Delhi in 2018, while Pune hosted 2nd edition in 2019.

 

IMPORTANT DAYS

• World Hepatitis Day (WHD) was observed on July 28, 2019. It is observed to raise awareness on the global burden of viral hepatitis.
  • The theme of World Health Organization (WHO) for WHD 2019 is “Invest in Eliminating Hepatitis”.
