• செங்கல்பட்டு – தென்காசி புதிய மாவட்டங்களுக்கு தனி அதிகாரிகளை நியமித்தது தமிழக அரசு
  • செங்கல்பட்டு மாவட்டத்திற்கு – ஜி.கே.அருண்சுந்தர் தயாளன்
  • தென்காசி மாவட்டத்திற்கு – ஏ.ஜான் லூயிஸ்
  • தமிழகத்தின் 34வது மாவட்டமாக தென்காசியும், 35வது மாவட்டமாக செங்கல்பட்டு மாவட்டமும் பிரிக்கப்பட்டன

 

 

தேசிய நிகழ்வுகள்

• இந்திய அரசின் மின் துறைச் செயலராக எஸ்.சி. கார்க் பொறுப்பேற்று கொண்டுள்ளார்.
  • இவர் 2014 – 17 வரை உலக வங்கியின் நிர்வாக இயக்குநராக பணியாற்றி வந்தார்.

 

 

• காந்தியடிகள் தமிழகத்தில் முதன்முறையாக தடம் பதித்ததை நினைவு கூரும் சிறப்பு தபால் உறை வெளியிடு.
  • காந்தியடிகள் கடந்த 1896 – ம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி மாதம் சென்னைக்கு முதல் முறையாக வருகை தந்தார்.
  • காந்தியடிகளின் 150 வது பிறந்த நாளை குறிக்கும் வகையில் உலகெங்கிலும் சுமார் 25 நாடுகள் தபால் தலைகளை வெளியிட்டுள்ளன.

 

 

• கார்கில் போரின் 20ஆம் ஆண்டு வெற்றி தினத்தையொட்டி குடியரசுத் தலைவர் ஸ்ரீநகர் போர் நினைவு சின்னத்தில் மரியாதை செலுத்தினார்.
  • கடந்த 1999 ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்தியாவிற்கும் பாகிஸ்தானிற்கும் கார்கிலில் போர் நடைபெற்றது.
  • இந்த வெற்றியை கொண்டாடும் வகையில் ஆண்டு தோறும் ஜீலை 26 “கார்கில் விஜய் திவாஸ்” கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

• பீகார் மாநில ஆளுநராக ஃபாகு சௌஹான் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
  • இவர் உத்திர பிரதேசத்தில் 6 முறை எம்.எல்.ஏ வாக பதவி வகித்துள்ளார்.
  • அரசியலமைப்பு ஷரத்து 155 ன் படி குடியரசு தலைவர் இவருக்கு பதவி பிரமாணம் செய்து வைப்பார்.

• உலக நீச்சல் சாம்பியன்ஷிப் போட்டியின் ஆடவருக்கான 100மீ பட்டர்ஃப்ளை பிரிவில் கேலப் டிரெஸ்ஸல்50 விநாடிகளில் கடந்து உலக சாதனை புரிந்தார்.

அறிவியல் தொழில்நுட்பம்

• பால்வெளி மண்டலத்தில் 28 புதிய வகை விண்மீன்களை இந்திய விஞ்ஞானிகள் கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளனர்.
  • உத்ரகாண்ட் மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள ஆரியபட்டா அறிவியல் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளது.
  • பூமிக்க அருகில் அமைந்துள்ள “ என்ஜிசி 4147” என்ற விண்மீன் தொகுதியில் புதிய வகையிலான 28 விண்மீன்களை கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளோம்.

TAMIL NADU NEWS

• The new Government officials were appointed for the new districts Chengalpattu and Tenkasi by Tamil Nadu government.
  • For Chengalpattu District – G.K. Arunsundarar Dayalam and For Tenkasi District – A. John Louis were appointed.

 

 

NATIONAL NEWS

• On Kargil War’s 20th anniversary Indian President Ram Nath Kovind visited kargil memorial at Sri Nagar and paid tribute to the soldiers.
  • The Kargil War held on 1999 between India and Pakistan.

 

 

• The Postal Envelope have planned to release in the remembrance of Gandhiji’s First visit to Tamil Nadu . In the year 1896 , February Gandhiji reached Chennai for the first time. 
  • To celebrate Gandhiji’s 150th birthday , 25 countries all over the world will be releasing the postage stamps on Gandhiji.

 

 

SCIENCE AND TECH UPDATES

• Scientists at the Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES) here have discovered 28 new variable stars in the Milky Way galaxy.
  • ARIES Director Wahab Uddin described the finding of the new variable stars, whose luminosity or brightness keeps changing, as a “rare achievement”.

 

 

SPORTS

• American star Caeleb Dressel, destroyed Michael Phelps’s 100 metres butterfly world record on Friday , In World Championships at Gwangju, South Korea.
  • Reigning champ Dressel clenched a fist in the direction of flag-waving American fans after clocking an astonishing 49.50 seconds

• The senior most officer in the Ministry of Finance S.C. Garg has Taken charge as Power Ministry Secretary , He has been a world bank Executive Director from 2014 – 2017.

 

 

 

• BJP leader Fagu Chauhan appointment as Bihar Governor, After the appointment he resigned as MLA from the Uttar Pradesh Assembly on Friday. 
  • According to the amendment bill 155, the appointment is made by President Ram Nath Kovind .
