• ஆசியாவின் முதலாவது மலை மருத்துவம் மற்றும் மலையில் அதிக உயரத்தில் உள்ளவர்களை மீட்பதற்கான சிக்ஸ் சிக்மா நிறுவனத்தை ருத்திரபிரயாக் மாவட்டத்தில் அமைக்க உத்தரகாண்ட் மாநில அரசு திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.
  • மேலும் இந்த நிறுவனம் மலை மருத்துவத்தில் ஆயுதப் படைகள் மற்றும் துணை இராணுவப் படைகளுக்கும் பயிற்சி வழங்கவிருக்கின்றது.
  • இது மாநிலத்திற்கு வருகை தரும் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் மற்றும் புனிதப் பயணிகளுக்கு உயரமான பகுதிகளில் தேவையான மருத்துவ சேவையை அளிக்கவிருக்கின்றது.

 

• ஜல் சக்தி அபியான் பிரச்சாரத்தின் முதல் நிலையின் ஒரு பகுதியாக (ஜூலை 01 – செப்டம்பர் 15), நகர நீர்ப் பாதுகாப்பிற்கான வழிகாட்டுதல்களை மத்திய வீட்டு வசதி மற்றும் நகர்ப்புற விவகாரங்கள் துறை அமைச்சகம் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
  • இது மழைநீர் சேகரிப்பைக் கண்காணிப்பதற்காக ஒரு பிரிவை அமைக்குமாறு நாட்டில் உள்ள அனைத்து நகராட்சி அமைப்புகளையும் கேட்டுக் கொண்டுள்ளது.
  • இந்தப் பிரிவானது நிலத்தடி நீர் உறிஞ்சப்படும் அளவு மற்றும் நிலத்தடி நீர் அதிகரிப்பு ஆகியவற்றைக் கண்காணிக்கும்.

 

 

• சுற்றுச்சூழலுக்கான அரசு சாரா நிறுவனமான கிரீன்பீஸ் இந்தியாவின் ஆய்வின்படி பல இந்திய நகரங்கள் நைட்ரஜன் ஆக்சைடை அதிகரிப்பதில் முக்கியப் பகுதிகளாக உள்ளன.
  • நைட்ரஜன் ஆக்சைடு என்பது கீழடுக்கு ஓசோன் உருவாக்கத்திற்குப் பங்களிக்கும் ஆபத்தான மாசுபடுத்தியாகும்.
  • டெல்லி, பெங்களுரு, மும்பை, கொல்கத்தா, சென்னை மற்றும் ஹைதராபாத் ஆகிய மெட்ரோ நகரங்கள் அதிக வாகன ஓட்டிகள் மற்றும் டீசல் நுகர்வு காரணமாக நைட்ரஜன் ஆக்சைடு உற்பத்தியின் முக்கிய இடங்களாக உள்ளன.

 

 

• இந்தியாவின் முதல் யானை மறுவாழ்வு மையம் கேரள மாநில அரசால் அதன் சுற்றுச்சூழல் சுற்றுலா கிராமமான கோட்டூரில் அமைக்கப்படவுள்ளது.
  • கேரள முதல்வர் பினராயி விஜயன் அவர்களால் தொடங்கிய இந்த திட்டத்திற்கு ரூ.105 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• சீனத் தொலைத்தொடர்புத் துறை நிறுவனமான ஹவாய் நிறுவனத்தின் சாதனங்கள் அல்லது சேவைகளை ஐந்து கண்கள் (Five Eyes) எனப்படும் நாடுகள் பயன்படுத்தினால், அந்நாடுகளுடன் பகிரப்பட்டு வரும் நுண்ணறிவுத் தரவுகள் நிறுத்தப்படும் என்று அமெரிக்கா எச்சரித்துள்ளது.
  • ஐந்து கண்கள் என்ற பெயரானது நுண்ணறிவு ஆவணங்களின் பாதுகாப்பு வகைப்பாட்டைக் குறிக்கும். அந்த நாடுகள் பின்வருமாறு.

• பெல்ஜியம் அணுக்கரு ஆராய்ச்சி மையத்தைச் சேர்ந்த லுக்ரிசியா டெர்சி என்பவர் சிக்கலான இந்தியப் பருவ மழையைக் கணிப்பதற்கு அணுக்கரு வெடிப்புகளை கண்டறிவதற்கான சாதனங்களின் தரவுகளைப் பயன்படுத்தியுள்ளார்.
  • விரிவான அணு ஆயுதப் பரவல் தடை ஒப்பந்த அமைப்பின் (CTBTO – Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty Organisation) கீழ் உள்ள சர்வதேக கண்காணிப்பு அமைப்பு நிலையங்கள் வளிமண்டலத்தின் கதிரியக்கச் சிதைவு அணுக்கருவின் அளவைத் தொடர்ந்து கண்காணிக்கின்றன.
  • இவர் பருவமழையைக் கணிப்பதற்கு கதிரியக்கச் சிதைவு அணுக்கருவான பெரிலியம் 7-ன் அளவை அறிந்துக் கொள்வதற்காக இரஷ்யா மற்றும் ஆஸ்திரேலியாவில் உள்ள CTBTO வின் தரவுகளைப் பயன்படுத்தியுள்ளார்.

 

 

விளையாட்டு நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• மல்யுத்த இறுதிப் போட்டியில் இந்தியாவின் முன்னணி மல்யுத்த வீராங்கனையான வினேஷ் போகாட் என்பவர் 53 கிலோ எடைப் பிரிவில் நெதர்லாந்தின் ஜெசிகா பிளாஸ்கா என்பவரை வீழ்த்தி, தனது முதலாவது தங்கப் பதக்கத்தை வென்றுள்ளார்.
  • 68 கிலோ எடைப் பிரிவில் திவ்யா காக்ரன் என்பவர் போலந்து நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்தவரை வீழ்த்தி தங்கப் பதக்கத்தை வென்றுள்ளார்.
  • இந்தியா இத்தொடரில் இரண்டாவது இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது. இத்தொடரில் இரஷ்யா முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது.

NATIONAL NEWS

• Kerala Gets India’s First Ever Elephant Rehabilitation Centre, the project was launched last month by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
  • The centre will have everything – from elephant museum, mahout training centre, super-specialty hospital and a retirement home, to a crematorium for the animals. 

 

 

 

• Uttarakhand would soon have a High Altitude institute of mountain medicine, training and research center. This would be the Asia’s first kind of Six Sigma health care.
  • A company which at present is operating hospitals in Kedarnath, Tungnath and Madmaheshwar has proposed to set up the mega Rs 750 cr project in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. 

 

 

 

• The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry have issued ‘Guidelines for Urban Water Conservation’, saying the ‘Rainwater Harvesting Cell’ of municipal corporationswill monitor the extent of groundwater extraction and groundwater aquifer recharge.
  • The guidelines have been issued as part of the first phase of ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan’ which began on July 1 and will continue till September 15. The second phase will start on October 1 and end on November 30.

 

 

 

• Several Indian cities, including the national capital are major hotspots for rising levels of nitrogen oxide, a dangerous pollutant .
  • The Top six cities includes Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad have high vehicular population and diesel consumption, says the NGO

• America have warned the Five Eye, If the five Eye countries uses the China’s telecom organization’s challenges and services, The country will lose its Intelligent data. This was started at 1946.
  • The Five eye countries are Australia, Canada, New Zeeland ,United kingdom and America

 

 

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

• Lucrezia Terzi, a researcher at the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre (SCKCEN), has come up with a new way of predicting the monsoon, by measuring how much Beryllium-7, an isotope of the element Beryllium, is present in the air.

 

 

 

SPORTS

• During the Grand Prix of Spain, Asian Games champion Vinesh Phogat won her first gold medal after shifting to 53kg category while another star Divya Kakran claimed the top honours in the 68kg category at the Grand Prix of Spain.
