• தமிழகத்தில் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை (ஜனவரி 19) போலியோ சொட்டு மருந்து முகாமில்50 லட்சம் குழந்தைகளுக்கு சொட்டு மருந்து வழங்கும் வகையில் 43,051 மையங்களை சுகாதாரத் துறை அமைத்துள்ளது.
  • தமிழகத்தில் அண்மையில் நடத்தப்பட்ட கணக்கெடுப்பில் 5 வயதுக்கு உள்பட்ட சுமார்50 லட்சம் குழந்தைகள் இருப்பதாக சுகாதாரத் துறை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
  • சென்னையில் உள்ள முதல்வரின் இல்லத்தில் சொட்டு மருந்து முகாம்களை தமிழக முதல்வர் தொடங்கி வைக்கிறார்.
  • செய்தி துளிகள் :
    • நாடு முழுவதும் இளம்பிள்ளைவாத நோயை தடுப்பதற்காக 5 வயது வரை உள்ள குழந்தைகளுக்கு போலியோ சொட்டு மருந்து வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
    • இந்த முகாமில் விடுபடும் குழந்தைகளைக் கண்டறிய அவர்களின் இடது கை சுண்டு விரலில் மை வைக்கப்படும்.

• காவல் துறையினருக்கான “போல்நெட்0” தளத்தை ஜனவரி 20-ம் தேதி தொடங்கி வைக்கிறார் மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சர் அமித் ஷா.
  • “போல்நெட்” தளத்தின் மூலம் காவல் துறையினர் மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பு படையினர் சட்டம் – ஒழுங்கு விவகாரம் தொடர்பாக தகவல்களை பரிமாறிக் கொள்கின்றனர்.
  • நாட்டின் எல்லையோர மற்றும் கடலோரப் பகுதிகளில் உள்ள மாநிலங்களின் காவல் துறை தலைவர்களுடன் “போல்நெட்0” தளத்தின் மூலம் அமித் ஷா தொடர்பில் இருப்பார்.
  • செய்தி துளிகள் :
    • “போல்நெட்” தளம் கடந்த 2006 – ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் இத்தளம் பயன்பாட்டில் உள்ளது.

    • ஜம்மு காஷ்மீர் மாநிலத்திற்கு சிறப்பு அந்தஸ்து வழங்கிய அரசமைப்பு சட்டத்தின் 370 – ஆவது பிரிவு கடந்த ஆகஸ்ட் 5-ம் தேதி ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டது.
    • ஜம்மு காஷ்மீரைப் பிரித்து லடாக் மற்றும் ஜம்மு – காஷ்மீர் என இரண்டு யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களையும் மத்திய அரசு உருவாக்கியது.
    • ஒருங்கிணைந்த ஜம்மு – காஷ்மீர் மாநிலத்தின் கடைசி முதல்வர் மெஹபூப முக்தி ஆவர்.

• Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani launched the 7th Economic Census process in the state. The Economic Census process organized by the Union Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation with the help of Common Service Centres.
  • Around 40 thousand enumerators will use mobile applications for the first time to gather information under the guidance of 6,500 supervisors.

• Gujarat ranked the best for parameters on efficiency targets in the review of state and Central government water departments by the ministry of Jal Shakti.

• The 15th Finance Commission will visit the State Goa and hold meetings with the State Government and other stakeholders on 23rd -24th January 2020.

• The World Gold Council (WGC) recently released its report, “World Gold Outlook 2020”. The report says that gold has performed the best since 2010 in 2019. In 2019, the gold trade in USD has increased by 4% as compared to 2010.
  • According to the WGC, RBI (Reserve Bank of India) currently holds 625.2 tonnes of gold. This is 6.6% of the country’s foreign exchange. With this, India ranks sixth in the world among other central banks.
