• சென்னை மின்வாரிய தலைமை அலுவலகத்தில் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள புதுபிக்கத்தக்க எரிசக்தி மேலாண்மை மையத்தை மின்சார துறை அமைச்சர் பி.தங்கமணி தொடங்கி வைத்துள்ளார்.
  • புதுபிக்கதக்க எரிசக்தி மின் உற்பத்தியின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை கருத்தில் கொண்டு மத்திய மின் கட்டமைப்பு கழகம் மூலமாக புதுப்பிக்கதக்க எரிசக்தி மேலாண்மை மையங்களை 7 மாநிலங்களிலும் மத்திய அரசு முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.
  • இது 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான மின் உற்பத்தி இலக்கை அடைவதற்காக நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

தேசிய நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• கடலோரக் காவல்படை கட்டப்பட்ட ‘வரத்’ என்ற ரோந்து கப்பலை நாட்டுக்கு அர்பணித்தார் கப்பல் போக்குவரத்து ரசாயணம் மற்றும் உரத்துறை இணை அமைச்சர் மன்சுக் மண்டவியா.
  • இது 2015ஆம் ஆண்டு 7 ரோந்து கப்பல்கள் தயாரிக்க எல் & டி (L& T) நிறுவனத்துக்கும் பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சகத்துக்கும் இடையில் போடப்பட்ட ஒப்பந்தத்தின் அடிப்படையில் தயாரிக்கப்பட்டது.
  • மேலும் “வஜ்ரா” என்று பெயரிடப்பட்ட ரோந்து கப்பலும் கடலோர காவல் படையிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

பொருளாதார நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• இந்தியாவின் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சி அக்டோபர் – டிசம்பர் காலாண்டில்7% ஆக குறைந்துள்ளது.
  • இது 7 ஆண்டுகளில் இல்லாத குறைந்த பட்ச அளவாகும்.
  • இதனை தேசிய புள்ளியியல் அலுவலகம் (NSO) வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
  • மேலும் நடப்பு 2019-20 நிதியாண்டில் நாட்டின் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சி 5% ஆக இருக்கும் என (NSO) வெளியிட்ட இரண்டாவது முன் கூட்டிய மதிப்பீட்டில் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

• அண்டவெளியில் பூமியின் தன்மைகளை ஒத்த இன்னொரு கிரகத்தை விஞ்ஞானிகள் கண்டறிந்துள்ளனர்.
  • அமெரிக்காவின் கெப்ளர் விண்கலம் பதிவு செய்துள்ள தகவல்களை ஆய்வு செய்து, அவர்கள் கண்டறிந்துள்ள 17 புதிய கோள்களில் அதுவும் ஒன்று என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
  • இந்த விண்கலம் நாசா விண்வெளி ஆய்வு நிறுவனம், சூரியனை போல பால் வெளியில் சுற்றி வரும் நட்சத்திரம் மற்றும் கோள்களை கண்டறிய 2009-ஆம் ஆண்டு செலுத்தப்பட்டது.
  • இது 2018 ஆம் ஆண்டில் ஓய்வு பெற்றது.
  • அந்த கிரகத்திற்கு கேஐசி- 7340288 என அவர்கள் பெயரிட்டுள்ளன.
  • இதன் மூலம் வாழ்வதற்கு தகுதியான சூழல் கொண்ட 15 கிரகங்கள் இருப்பதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, launched the EASE (Enhanced Access and Service Excellence)0 reform agenda. EASE 3.0 agenda aims at providing smart, tech-enabled public sector banking for aspiring India.
  • This launch of EASE 3.0 would change the customer’s experience at the Public Sector Banks (PSBs).
