தேசிய நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• வாடகைத்தாய் (ஒழுங்குமுறை) மசோதா, 2019இல் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்ட மாற்றங்களுக்கு மத்திய அமைச்சரவை ஒப்புதல் அளித்தது.
  • இந்த மாற்றங்களை மாநிலங்களவையின் 23 பேர் கொண்ட தேர்வு குழு அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது.
  • செய்தி துளிகள்:
    • இதன் மூலம் ஒரு பெண் ஒரு முறை மட்டுமே வாடகைத்தாயாக இருக்க இயலும். மேலும் அவருக்கு திருமணமாகி ஒரு குழந்தை இருக்க வேண்டும். வயது 25 முதல் 35 ஆக இருக்க வேண்டும்
    • வணிக ரீதியான வாடகைத்தாய் முறையை தடுப்பதே இதன் நோக்கமாகும்.

 

 

• கிழக்கு காமெங் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள பக்கே புலிகள் காப்பகம் (Pakke Tiger Reserve – PTR) வழியாக நெடுஞ்சாலை ஒன்றை அமைக்க அருணாச்சலப் பிரதேச மாநில அரசு திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.
  • இந்தப் புலிகள் காப்பகம் தனது இருவாய்ச்சி கூடுகளை ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளுதல் திட்டத்திற்காக ‘அச்சுறுத்தல் நிலையில் உள்ள உயிரினங்களின் பாதுகாப்பு’ என்ற பிரிவில் 2016ஆம் ஆண்டின் இந்தியா பல்லுயிர் விருதினை வென்றுள்ளது.

• சாம்ராஜ்நகர் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள மலை மகாதேஷ்வர் வனவிலங்குச் சரணாலயத்தைப் புலிகள் காப்பகமாக அறிவிக்க கர்நாடக மாநில அரசு முன்மொழிந்துள்ளது.
  • கர்நாடகாவில் : இது அறிவிக்கப்பட்டால், சாம்ராஜ்நகர் மாவட்டமானது நாட்டில் மூன்று புலிகள் காப்பகத்தை கொண்டுள்ள ஒரு தனித்துவமான புகழைப் பெற இருக்கின்றது.
  • இது ஏற்கனவே பந்திப்பூர் புலிகள் காப்பகம் மற்றும் பிலிகிரி ரங்கநாதர் கோயில் (Biligiri Ranganatha Temple – BRT)  புலிகள் காப்பகம் ஆகியவற்றை தனது வரம்பு எல்லைக்குள் கொண்டுள்ளது.

    • மேலும், இதன் மூலம், கர்நாடகா மாநிலமானது இவை இரண்டைத் தவிர நாகர்ஹோல், பத்ரா மற்றும் அன்ஷி – தண்டேலி என்று ஆறு புலிகள் காப்பகத்தைக் கொண்டிருக்கும்.

 

 

• இந்திய உச்ச நீதிமன்றமானது சிறுத்தை மீள் அறிமுகத் திட்டத்திற்கு அனுமதி வழங்கியுள்ளது.
  • தேசியப் புலிகள் பாதுகாப்பு ஆணையமானது இதனை மத்தியப் பிரதேசத்தில் உள்ள குனோ – பால்பூர் வனவிலங்குச் சரணாலயத்தில் மீள் அறிமுகம் செய்யும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகின்றது.
  • இந்தியாவில் அழிந்து போன ஒரே ஒரு முக்கிய இனம் சிறுத்தை மட்டுமே ஆகும்.
  • செய்திதுளிகள்:
    • IUCN (இயற்கை பாதுகாப்புக்கான சர்வதேச ஒன்றியம் – International Union for Conservation of Nature) சிவப்புப் பட்டியலானது “சிறுத்தையை”“பாதிப்புக்கு உள்ளாகக் கூடிய இனம்” என்று வகைப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
    • இந்தியாவின் கடைசி சிறுத்தை 1947ஆம் ஆண்டில் சத்தீஸ்கரில் கொல்லப்பட்டது.

• இந்திய விமானப்படைக்கும் இங்கிலாந்தின் ராயல் விமானப்படை இணைந்து நடத்தும் கூட்டு பயிற்சி இந்திர – தனுஷ் கூட்டு ராணுவ பயிற்சியான 2020-இன் 5-வது பதிப்பு உத்திரபிரதேசத்தில் இருக்கும் ஹின்டன் விமானப்படை நிலையத்தில் நடைபெற்றது.
  • ஹின்டன் விமானப்படை மேற்கு விமான படையின் கீழ் இயங்குகிறது. இது உலகின் எட்டாவது மிகப்பெரிய (ம) ஆசியாவின் மிகப்பெரிய விமான தளமாகும்.

 

 

அறிவியல் நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• புவி கண்காணிப்புக்கு உதவும் ஜிஐசாட் – 1 செயற்கைகோளை இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆய்வு மையம் (இஸ்ரோ) வரும் மார்ச் 5-ஆம் தேதி விண்ணில் செலுத்த உள்ளது.
  • இந்த செயற்கைகோள் 2268 கிலோ எடை கொண்ட முழுவதும் உள்நாட்டில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ள இந்த அதிநவீன கேமிராக்கள் மூலம் புவியை படம் பிடித்து அனுப்பக்கூடிய இந்த செயற்கைகோள், இஸ்ரோ சார்பில் அனுப்பப்படும் முதல் அதிவிரைவு செயற்கைகோள் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

NATIONAL NEWS

• The Government of India (GoI) is to organize an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit called RAISE 2020. RAISE stands for Responsible AI for Social Empowerment. The Summit is to be held in New Delhi between April 11 and 12, 2020.
  • The summit will be attended by experts of Artificial Intelligence from all over the world.

• On February 26, 2020, the Union Cabinet approved the changes introduced to the Surrogacy (Regulation) bill, 2019. The changes were introduced by the 23-member select committee of Rajya Sabha.
  • The changes approved include not only close relatives but “any woman” willing to act as a surrogate mother shall be allowed.

 

 

• India and the United States finalized defence deals worth three billion dollars and signed three agreements, including in health and oil sectors. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on mental health between the health departments of both the two countries.
  • Another MoU on the safety of medical products was signed between the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization with the US Food and Drug Administration.

• Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country to introduce the unified registration card and the second state to launch the unified driving license after Uttar Pradesh.

• Microsoft announced a partnership with State Bank of India to train differently-abled people to find jobs in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector. Over 500 differently-abled youths will be upskilled in the first year of the collaboration.
  • As a part of this partnership, SBI Foundation and Microsoft will develop an artificial intelligence-powered market so that the BFSI industry can connect more easily with differently-abled people for employment opportunities.
