• பெண் குழந்தைகளுக்கான பாதுகாப்பு திட்டத்தை முதல்வர் எடப்பாடி.கே.பழனிசாமி தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
  • சென்னை தலைமை செயலகத்தில் நடைபெற்ற இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் 14 பெண் குழந்தைகளுக்கு தலா ரூ.25 ஆயிரம் வைப்பீட்டு தொகைக்கான பத்திரங்களை முதல்வர் வழங்கினார்.

• திருச்சியில் உள்ள தேசியத் தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனமானது “திருமதிகார்ட்” என்ற பெயர் கொண்ட சுய உதவிக் குழுக்களால் (SHG – Self Help Group ) தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட பொருள்களுக்கான கைபேசிச் செயலியை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.
  • இந்தச் செயலியானது மத்திய அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையுடன் இணைந்து உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• பாதுகாப்பு மந்திரி ராஜ்நாத் சிங் சமீபத்தில் டெல்லி கன்டோண்ட்மென்ட்டில் ஒரு புதிய இராணுவ தலைமையகத்தை நிர்மாணிக்க அடிக்கல் நாட்டினார். இந்த கட்டிடத்திற்கு “தல் சேனா பவன்” என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
  • இந்த கட்டிடம் ; GRIHA-5 மதீப்பீட்டு விதிமுறைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டது.

    • GRIHA என்பது ஒருங்கிணைந்த வாழ்விட மதிப்பீட்டிற்கான பசுமை மதிப்பீடு ஆகும்.

• இந்தியா – அமெரிக்கா இடையே ரூ.21,000 கோடியில் (300 கோடி டாலர்) பாதுகாப்பு ஒப்பந்தம் இறுதி செய்யப்படவுள்ளது என்று அமெரிக்க அதிபர் டிரம்ப் கூறினார்.
  • இரண்டு நாள் பயணமாக தனது குடும்பத்தினருடன் இந்தியா வந்துள்ள அதிபர் டிரம்ப், குஜராத் மாநிலம் அகமதாபாத்தில் உள்ள மொடேரா கிரிக்கெட் மைதானத்தில் நடைபெற்ற “நமஸ்தே டிரம்ப்” நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்து கொண்டு உரையாற்றினார்.

• வரும் 2022 இல் காமன்வெல்த் துப்பாக்கி சுடுதல் வில்வித்தை போட்டிகளை இந்தியாவின் சண்டீகரில் நடத்த காமன்வெல்த் விளையாட்டு கூட்டமைப்பு (சி.ஜி.எப்) ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது.
  • வரும் 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டு இங்கிலாந்து பர்மிங்ஹாம் நகரில் காமன்வெல்த் போட்டிகள் நடக்கவுள்ளன.

    • பர்மிங்ஹாம் நகரில் வில்வித்தை மற்றும் துப்பாக்கி சுடுதல் போட்டிக்கு கட்டமைப்பு வசதி இல்லாததால் இவை இரண்டும் இந்தியாவில் நடைபெறவுள்ளன.

• The first anniversary of the iconic National War Memorial (NWM) will be observed on 25 February. Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the monument to the nation on 25 February 2019.
  • The memorial is a tribute to the fallen heroes in the line of duty during various wars and internal security challenges since Independence.
  • RELATED KEYS
    • National War Memorial has names of 25,942 soldiers martyred after Independence engraved.
    • The Memorial is spread over 40 acres in the India Gate complex in Delhi. It was built at a cost of around 176 crore in a record time of one year.

 

 

• Secretary of Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) Injeti Srinivas has launched the new company incorporation “Spice+” Webform on 24 February. It is a part of a comprehensive package to make life easier for someone starting a business.
  • The move is in line with India’s Ease of Doing Business (EODB) initiatives.

• Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ presents Vishwakarma Awards 2019 to the winners in New Delhi. It was organized in the All India Council for Technical Training.
  • 23 groups were awarded the Chatra Vishwakarma Awards (CVA).
