- புதுச்சேரி அரசு வேளாண் மற்றும் விவசாயிகள் நலத்துறை சார்பில், தேசிய தோட்டக்கலை இயக்கம் மற்றும் வேளாண் தொழில்நுட்ப மேலாண் முகமை இணைந்து தைத்திருவிழா தாவரவியல் பூங்காவில் நேற்று முன்தினம் துவங்கியது.
- விழாவை முதல்வர் நாராயணசாமி துவக்கி வைத்தார். இரண்டாவது நாளாக நேற்று மலர் கண்காட்சி நடந்தது. கண்காட்சியில், 25 ஆயிரம் செடிகள், மலர்கள் மற்றும் காய்கறி வகைகள் பார்வைக்கு வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
- சேலம் மாவட்டம் வாழப்பாடியில் 16 ஏக்கர் பரப்பளவில் சர்வதேச தரத்தில் புதிய கிரிக்கெட் மைதானத்தை முதல்வர் எடப்பாடி கே.பழனிசாமி பிப்ரவரி 09 அன்று திறந்து வைத்தார்.
- இந்த புதிய கிரிக்கெட் மைதானம் திறப்பு விழா நிகழ்ச்சியில் முன்னாள் கேப்டனும், தேசிய கிரிக்கெட் அகாதெமி இயக்குநருமான ராகுல் டிராவிட், முன்னாள் பிசிசிஐ தலைவர் என்.ஸ்ரீனிவாசன், தமிழ்நாடு கிரிக்கெட் சங்கத் தலைவர் ரூபா குருநாத் உள்ளிட்டோர் பங்கேற்றனர்.
- யுனெஸ்கோவால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட பாரம்பரிய நகரமாக புதுச்சேரியை உருவாக்கும் முயற்சியில் இறங்கியுள்ளதாக யுனெஸ்கோ இயக்குநர் எரிக் ஃபால்ட் தெரிவித்தார்.
- புதுவை அரசின் நகரம் – கிராம திட்டமிடல் துறையும், கலை, கலாசார பாரம்பரியத்துக்கான இந்திய தேசிய அறக்கட்டளையும் இணைந்து “புதுச்சேரி பாரம்பரிய பாதுகாப்பு – யுனெஸ்கோ நியமனத்துக்கான பாதை’ என்ற தலைப்பிலான கருத்தரங்கை புதுச்சேரியில் பிப்ரவரி 08 அன்று நடத்தியது.
- புதுவை தலைமைச் செயலகத்தில் நடைபெற்ற கருத்தரங்கில் அரசு செயலர் மகேஷ் வரவேற்றார். தலைமைச் செயலர் அஸ்வனி குமார் கருத்தரங்கைத் தொடக்கி வைத்தார். இதில், சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக யுனெஸ்கோ இயக்குநர் எரிக் ஃபால்ட் கலந்து கொண்டு, “உலகப் பாரம்பரிய நகர நியமனத்துக்கான வழிமுறைகள்” என்ற தலைப்பில் உரையாற்றினார்.

- In Madhya Pradesh, the state government has decided to use drones for mapping villages. So far, land survey work is being done either manually or with the help of satellite images in Madhya Pradesh.
