தேசிய நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• பிப்ரவரி 8, 2020 அன்று ஷரங் பீரங்கி துப்பாக்கி இந்திய ராணுவத்தில் சேர்க்கப்பட உள்ளது. பீரங்கி துப்பாக்கிகள் தற்போது கான்பூர் போர்த் தளவாடங்கள் தொழிற்சாலையில் தயாரிக்கப்படுகின்றன.
  • ஷரங் பீரங்கி துப்பாக்கிகள் 130மிமீ முதல் 155மிமீ வரை மேம்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. மேலும், துப்பாக்கி அமைப்பின் அடிக்கும் வீச்சு 12 கிலோ மீட்டரிலிருந்து 39 கிலோ மீட்டராக உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. இது 2019 ஜனவரியில் பாலசோர் டிஆர்டிஓவில் சோதனை செய்யப்பட்டது.

    • 1775ஆம் ஆண்டில் கொல்கத்தாவின் கோட்டை வில்லியம் என்ற இடத்தில் ஆர்ட்னன்ஸ் தொழிற்சாலை வாரியம் அமைக்கப்பட்டது. வாரியம் இந்தியாவின் 41 தொழிற்சாலைகளை 24 வெவ்வேறு இடங்களில் நிர்வகிக்கிறது.

 

 

• கடல் பொருட்கள் ஏற்றுமதி மேம்பாட்டு ஆணையம் கொச்சியில் சர்வதேச கடல் உணவு கண்காட்சியை ஏற்பாடு செய்தது. நிகழ்ச்சியில் சுமார் 5,000 பிரதிநிதிகள் பங்கேற்றனர்.
  • இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி இந்திய கடல் பொருட்களின் வெளிநாட்டு இறக்குமதியாளர்களுக்கும் இந்திய ஏற்றுமதியாளர்களுக்கும் ஒரு தளத்தை வழங்கும.;
  • இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி பிப்ரவரி 7, 2020 முதல் பிப்ரவரி 9, 2020 வரை நடைபெறுகிறது.
  • நீல புரட்சி: உற்பத்திக்கு அப்பால் மதிப்பு கூட்டல் என்ற கருப்பொருளின் கீழ் இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது.
  • செய்தி துளிகள்
    • IISS (India International Seafood Show) ஆசியாவின் மிகப்பெரிய உணவு கண்காட்சிகளில் ஒன்றாகும்.
    • இந்தியாவின் மொத்த உள்நாட்டு உற்பத்தியில் 3% பங்களிப்பதால் கேரளாவின் மீன்வளத் துறை முக்கியமானது.
    • உலக சந்தையில் இந்தியாவின் கடல் உணவு வர்த்தகத்தை 2030க்குள்1 சதவீதத்திலிருந்து 6.7 சதவீதமாக உயர்த்துவதை இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

 

 

• கடல் பொருட்கள் ஏற்றுமதி மேம்பாட்டு ஆணையம் (Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA)) இந்தியாவில் 25 மீன்பிடி துறைமுகங்களை நவீனமயமாக்கவுள்ளது.
  • இந்த திட்டம் ஆந்திராவின் நிஜம்பட்னம் மற்றும் கேரளாவின் கொச்சியில் உள்ள இரண்டு துறைமுகங்களில் தொடங்கப்பட உள்ளது.
  • கடல் உற்பத்திகளின் மதிப்பை அதிகரிக்க இந்த நடவடிக்கை MPEDA ஆல் எடுக்கப்படுகிறது.

    • தென்கிழக்கு ஆசிய நாடுகளில் 50% உடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது இந்தியாவில் கடல் பொருட்களின் மதிப்பு தற்போது 5% ஆகும்.

• DRDO (பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மேம்பாட்டு அமைப்பு) ரஷ்யாவின் ரோசோபோரோனெக்ஸ் போர்ட்டுடன் (Rosoboron export) ஒரு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் கையெழுத்திட்டது.
  • DRDO வின் HEMRL (High Energy Materials Research Laboratory) உடன் இந்த ஒப்பந்தம் கையெழுத்தானது. ராக்கெட்டுகள், ஏவுகணைகள் மற்றும் துப்பாக்கிகளுக்குத் தேவையான உயர் ஆற்றல் பொருட்களின் ஸ்பெக்ட்ரம் உருவாக்க HEMRL செயல்படுகிறது.
  • செய்தி துளிகள்
    • ரோசோபோரோனெக்ஸ்போர்ட்ஸ் என்பது ரஷ்யாவின் பாதுகாப்பு பொருட்கள் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பங்களின் இறக்குமதி மற்றும் ஏற்றுமதிக்கான இடைநிலை நிறுவனம் ஆகும். இது 2000ஆம் ஆண்டில் நிறுவப்பட்டது. இது ரஷ்ய அரசாங்கத்தின் பாதுகாப்பு கொள்கைகளை செயல்படுத்துகிறது.

  • ஏ.எஸ்.டபிள்யூ ராக்கெட் ஏவுகணைகள், டி-72, ரேடார் அமைப்புகள், 3 டி மாடலிங், டி -90 தொடர்பான ஒப்பந்தங்களில் நாடுகள் கையெழுத்திட்டன.

    • இந்தியா மற்றும் ரஷ்யாவின் பாதுகாப்பு உறவுகள் வலுவாக உள்ளன. நாடுகளும் பலதரப்பு அமைப்புகள் மூலம் பாதுகாப்பு உறவுகளை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளன.

NATIONAL NEWS

• The Marine Products Export Development Authority Organized International Sea Food Show in Kochi. Around 5,000 delegates participated in the show. The show will provide a platform for overseas importers of Indian marine products and also for Indian exporters.
  • The Show is being held between February 7, 2020 and February 9, 2020.
  • Theme: Blue Revolution: Beyond Production to Value Addition
  • Related Keys:
    • Around 350 stalls, 200 exhibitors and 5,000 delegates are to participate at the event. The show was previously held in Goa in January 2018. The show was organized under the theme

 

 

• Delhi Elections 2020 Live Updates: 6.96% voter turnout till 11:00 am
  • Around 1.5 crore eligible voters of Delhi will elect representatives for the 70 Delhi assembly from 672 candidates today
  • Related Keys:
    • Apart from 40,000 Delhi Police personnel, 190 companies of paramilitary and 13,000 cops from Punjab, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh have been deployed for the entire Delhi.
    • The results of it will come out on February 11.

 

 

• Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa is on a State visit to India from 8 to 11 February 2020. His visit comes at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr. Rajapaksa is with a high-level delegation.
  • On 8 February, he will hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Modi.
  • After his official engagements in Delhi the Sri Lankan Prime Minister will travel to Varanasi, Sarnath, Bodh Gaya, Tirupati before he gets back to Colombo.

    • On 21 November 2019, Mahinda Rajapaksa was appointed as the Prime Minister for the 3rd time, following the resignation of Ranil Wickremesinghe, upon the election victory of Gotabaya Rajapaksa as the President of Sri Lanka.

 

 

INTERNATIONAL NEWS

• On February 7, 2020, DRDO (Defence Research Development Organization) signed an agreement with Rosobornexport of Russia. According to the agreement the defence organization will develop Advanced Pyrotechnic Ignition Systems for missile propulsion
  • Related Keys:
    • The agreement was signed with the HEMRL (High Energy Materials Research Laboratory) of DR DO. HEMRL is working towards the development of spectrum of of high energy materials that are required for rockets, missiles and guns.

 

 

APPOINTMENTS

• Career diplomat Philip Barton has been appointed as the High Commissioner to India by the British government. He will succeed Dominic Asquith. The appointment will be effective from Spring 2020.
  • He joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 1986. He served as the British High Commissioner to Pakistan from 2014 to 2016
