தமிழக அரசு சார்பில் நடத்தப்பட்ட உலக முதலீட்டாளர் மாநாட்டில் கையெழுத்தான புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தங்களின்படி முதலீடுகளை ஈர்க்கும் வகையில் தமிழக முதல்வர் கே.பழனிச்சாமி அவர்களின் வெளிநாடு பயணத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக தமிழக அரசின் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறை சார்பில் அமெரிக்காவில் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தங்கள் கையெழுத்திடப்படுகின்றன.
தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள அனைத்து நகராட்சி பேரூராட்சி வீடுகளில் அதிவேக இணையதள சேவையை கொண்டுவருவதற்காக இந்த புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் உதவும் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
