இந்தியாவின் முதல் நீருக்கடியில் ரயில் திட்டம் மேற்கு வங்காளத்தின் கொல்கத்தாவில் ஹீக்லி ஆற்றின் கீழ் தொடங்கப்பட உள்ளது என்று மத்திய ரயில்வே அமைச்சர் பியூஷ் கோயல் அறிவித்தார். இது 16 கிலோமீட்டர் நீளமுள்ள கொல்கத்தா மெட்ரோ திட்டமாகும்.

India could soon have its first underwater train in Kolkata as Union Railways minister has announced that most of the work for the train project has been completed and the metro train services would start soon.

On August 8, 2019, Asian Development Bank(ADB) approved $200million loan for improving road infrastructure in 34 districts of Maharashtrato connect rural areas with markets and services.
The total cost of the project is $296 million. The government will provide $96 million.

Sports Secretary said that the Indian cricket board has agreed to come under the ambit of the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA).
Till date, Sweden-based International Dope Testing Management (IDTM) has been collecting the cricketers’ samples and submitting them to the National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL). IDTM was an outside agency hired by BCCI to take samples.
