• இன்போசிஸ் தனது அதிநவீன சைபர் பாதுகாப்பு மையத்தை ருமேனியாவின் புக்கரெஸ்டில் துவக்கியது.
  • இந்த பாதுகாப்பு மையம் இன்ஃபோசிஸ் டிஜிட்டல் புதுமை மையம் வழியாக வழங்கப்படும் சேவைகளின் விரிவாக்கமாகும், இது 2019 ஆம் ஆண்டின் தொடக்கத்தில் புக்கரெஸ்டில் திறக்கப்பட்டது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

 

 

• எஸ்.யு – 30 ரக போர் விமானங்களில் பொருத்துவதற்காக ரூ.1500 கோடி மதிப்பில் அதிநவீன ஏவுகணைகளை வாங்குவது தொடர்பான ஒப்பந்தத்தை ரஷியாவுடன் இந்தியா மேற்கொண்டுள்ளது
  • இந்த ஏவுகணைகள் வானில் இருந்து பறந்து சென்று வானில் உள்ள எதிரிகளின் இலக்கை தாக்கி அழிக்கக்கூடியது. மேலும் நீண்ட தொலைவு சென்று தாக்குதல் நடத்தும் வல்லமை கொண்டது.
  • இந்த ஏவுகணைகள், எஸ்.யு-30 ரக போர் விமானங்களில் பொருத்தப்பட்டால், இந்திய விமானப்படையின் தாக்குதல் திறன் மேலும் அதிகரிக்கும் என்று மத்திய அரசு வட்டாரங்கள் தெரிவித்தன.

 

 

தேசிய நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• அருணாச்சல பிரதேச முதல்வரான பீமா காண்டு இட்டாநகரில் மாநிலம் தழுவிய மரம் நடும் திட்டமான ‘சுத்தமான-பச்சை அருணாச்சல் பிரச்சாரம் 2019’ தொடங்கினார். இந்த பிரச்சாரத்தின் கீழ் மாநில வனத்துறை 24 மணி நேரத்தில் 1 லட்சம் மரக்கன்றுகளை நட்டது.

 

 

• ஊழல் புகாருக்கு ஆளாகியுள்ள இந்திய மருத்துவ கவுன்சிலுக்கு மாற்றாக, தேசிய மருத்துவ ஆணையத்தை ஏற்படுத்தும் வகையிலும், பாரம்பரிய மருத்துவம் பயின்றோர் நவீன மருத்துவ சிகிச்சை அளிக்க அனுமதிக்கும் வகையிலும் 2019 தேசிய மருத்துவ ஆணைய மசோதாவை மத்திய அரசு கொண்டு வந்துள்ளது
  • மக்களவையில் அந்த மசோதா கடந்த 29-ஆம் தேதி நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது. இதைத் தொடர்ந்து, மாநிலங்களவையில் மசோதாவை மத்திய சுகாதாரத் துறை அமைச்சர் ஹர்ஷ்வர்த்தன் தாக்கல் செய்தார்
  • மசோதாவில் உள்ள 32ஆவது பிரிவில் முறைப்படி மருத்துவ கல்வி பயிலாதவர்களுக்கு சட்டரீதியில் அங்கீகாரம் அளிக்க வகை செய்ப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

 

• சிறார்களை பாலியல் வன்கொடுமை செய்வோருக்கு மரண தண்டனை விதிக்க வகை செய்யும் சட்டத் திருத்த மசோதா (போக்ஸோ) மக்களவையில் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது.
  • பாலியல் குற்றங்களில் இருந்து சிறாhர்களைப் பாதுகாக்கும் சட்டத் திருத்த மசோதா-2019, மாநிலங்களவையில் கடந்த 29-ஆம் தேதி நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டுவிட்டது.
  • இந்த மசோதாவை, மக்களவையில் மத்திய மகளிர் மற்றும் சிறார் நல மேம்பாட்டு துறை அமைச்சர் ஸ்மிருதி இரானி அறிமுகம் செய்து வைத்தார்.

 

 

• தில்லியில் 200 யூனிட்டுகளுக்கு குறைவாக மின்சாரத்தை பயன்படுத்தும் நுகர்வோர்களுக்கு மின்சாரக் கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கப்படமாட்டாது என்று தில்லி முதல்வர் கேஜரிவால் அதிரடியாக அறிவித்துள்ளார். மேலும், இது ஆகஸ்ட் – 1 ஆம் தேதி முதல் அமலுக்கு வரவுள்ளது.
  • இதன் மூலம் 200 யூனிட்டுக்கும் அதிகமாக மின்சாரத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துபவர்கள், தாங்கள் 200 யூனிட்டுக்குக் குறைவாகப் பயன்படுத்தினால் மின் கட்டனம் செலுத்தத் தேவையில்லை என நினைத்து மின்சாரத்தை குறைவாகப் பயன்படுத்துவார்கள் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

• ப்ரித்வி ஷா ஒரு ஊக்கமருந்து விதிமீறல் காரணமாக இந்திய கிரிக்கேட் கட்டுப்பாட்டு வாரியத்தால் 8 மாதங்களுக்கு இடைநீக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார். BCCI ஊக்கமருந்து எதிர்ப்பு விதிகளின் கீழ் ஊக்கமருந்து எதிர்ப்பு விதி மீறல்
  • (Anti – Doping Rule Violation – ADRV) ஆணைக்குழுவில் ஷா மீது குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டது.

 

 

 

• தைவானின் தைபேயில் நடைபெற்ற 2 வது உலக காது கேளாத இளைஞர் பூப்பந்து சாம்பியன்ஷிப் 2019 போட்டியில் தமிழக வீராங்கனையான ஜே ஜெர்லின் அனிகா 4, பதக்கங்களை (1 தங்கம், 2 வெள்ளி, 1 வெண்கலம்) பெற்றுள்ளார்.

NATIONAL NEWS

• Lok Sabha on Monday passed the National Medical Commission Bill for replacing the corruption-plagued MCI with a new body, in what was described by the government as one of the biggest reforms that will end inspector raj’ in the medical education sector.
  • The bill that seeks to repeal the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 was passed by a voice vote.

 

 

• The bill seeking to provide death penalty for sexual assault on children and greater punishments for other crimes against minors was approved by Parliament after it was passed by the Lok Sabha.
  • Piloting the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Amendment) Bill, 2019, Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani said it aims at making offences against children gender-neutral.

 

 

 

• Chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh in Itanagar started the state Scheme ” Pure Green Arunachal Pradesh 2019″ . In this Campaign the state forest Department have planted 1 lakh saplings .

 

 

• The Indian Air Force (IAF) has signed a deal with Russia for buying R-27 air-to-air missiles worth over Rs 1500 crore. The missiles will be fitted on the Su-30MKI fighter planes. The missiles will further strengthen the air-to-air combat capability of the air force.

 

 

• Delhi Chief MinisterArvind Kejriwal announced that people living in the capital do not have to pay any amount of their electricity bills if their power consumption does not exceed 200 units. He added that the Delhi government will give full subsidy to those consuming up to 200 units of electricity.

 

 

INTERNATIONAL NEWS

• Infosys announced the launch of its state-of-the-art Cyber Defence Centerin Bucharest, Romania. The Defence Center is an expansion of services delivered through Infosys Digital Innovation Center which opened in Bucharest.
  • They will provide end-to-end, real-time, 24/7 cyber security monitoring and protection services .

 

SPORTS

• Indian Test opener Prithvi Shaw has been suspended by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) till November 15, 2019, for a doping violation. According to a BCCI release, Shaw had inadvertently ingested a prohibited substance, which can be commonly found in cough syrups.
  • His sample was subsequently tested and found to contain Terbutaline.

 

 

• Tamil Nadu girl Jerlin Anika won the gold medal in the World Deaf Youth Badminton Championships. The competition is held in Taipei last week.
  • Anika bagged four medals in the championship, including the gold, two silver, and one bronze.

 

AWARDS

• DD News (Doordarshan)news channel of India awarded “Champions of Empathy Award”. The award is given for spreading awareness about hepatitis. 
  • Mayank Agrawal, Director General of DD News received the Award from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
