•   கொரோனா பாதிப்பினை எதிர்கொள்ள முதல்வரின் பொது நிவாரண நிதிக்கு இதுவரை ரூ.36.34 கோடி திரண்டுள்ளதாக தமிழக அரசு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
  • கொரோனா நோய்த்தொற்றைத் தடுக்க மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வரும் பணிகளுக்கு முதல்வரின் பொது நிவாரண நிதிக்கு நன்கொடைகள் வழங்க வேண்டுமென முதல்வர் எடப்பாடி கே. பழனிசாமி கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்தார். அவரது வேண்டுகோளை ஏற்று பல்வேறு தரப்பினரும் நிதி அளித்து வருகின்றனார்.
  • செய்தி துளிகள்:
    •  பல்வேறு தனியார் நிறுவனங்கள் சார்பிலும், பொது மக்களிடம் இருந்தும் மார்ச் 31-ஆம் தேதி வரை பெறப்பட்ட மொத்தத் தொகை ரூ.36 கோடியே 34 லட்சத்து 2 ஆயிரத்து 529 ஆகும். நன்கொடை அளித்த அனைவருக்கும் தனித்தனியே ரசீதுகள் அவ்வப்போது வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன என்று தமிழக அரசு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

இந்திய நிகழ்வுகள்

 

•   நாட்டில் உள்ள 10 பொதுத் துறை வங்கிகள் இணைக்கப்பட்டு 4 வங்கிகளாக புதன்கிழமை (01.04.2020) முதல் செயல்படத் தொடங்கின.
  • இதன்படி, பஞ்சாப் நேஷனல் வங்கியுடன் யுனைடெட் பாங்க் ஆஃப் இந்தியா, ஓரியண்டல் பாங்க் ஆஃப் காமர்ஸ் ஆகியவை இணைந்துள்ளன. இந்த இணைப்பு மூலம் பஞ்சாப் நேஷனல் வங்கி நாட்டின் இரண்டாவது மிகப்பெரிய பொதுத் துறை வங்கியாக உருவெடுத்துள்ளது.

    • பஞ்சாப் நேஷனல் வங்கியில் 11,000-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட கிளைகளும், 13,000-க்கு மேற்பட்ட ஏடிஎம்களும் உள்ளன. ஒரு லட்சத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட பணியாளர்கள் உள்ளனர்.
      ழ கனரா வங்கியுடன் சிண்டிகேட் வங்கியும், இந்தியன் வங்கியுடன் அலாகாபாத் வங்கியும் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
    • யூனியன் பாங்க் ஆஃப் இந்தியாவுடன் ஆந்திரா வங்கியும், கார்ப்பரேஷன் வங்கியும் இணைந்துள்ளன.

•   கொரோனா நோய்த்தொற்று, இரண்டாம் உலகப் போருக்குப் பிறகு உலகம் எதிர்கொண்டுள்ள மிகப் பெரும் பேரிடர் என்று ஐ.நா. பொதுச் செயலர் அன்டோனியோ குட்டெரெஸ் கூறியுள்ளார்.

    •  ஐ.நா. அமைப்பு உருவாக்கப்பட்டதற்குப் பிறகு, அந்த அமைப்பு எதிர்கொண்டுள்ள மிகப் பெரிய பிரச்னையாக கொரோனா நோய்த்தொற்று ஆகியுள்ளது.
    • அந்த நோய்த்தொற்று காரணமாக நாடுகளின் ஸ்திரத்தன்மைக்கு ஏற்பட்டுள்ள அச்சுறுத்தல், வன்முறைச் சம்பவங்கள் அதிகரிப்பதற்கான அச்சுறுத்தல் ஆகியவை காரணமாக, இது மாபெரும் பேரிடராக உருவெடுத்துள்ளது.

•    கொரோனா நோய்த் தொற்று சூழல் காரணமாக, கிராண்ட்ஸ்லாம் போட்டிகளில் ஒன்றான விம்பிள்டன் டென்னிஸ் இந்த ஆண்டு ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. 2-ஆம் உலகப் போர் காலகட்டத்துக்குப் பிறகு விம்பிள்டன் போட்டி ரத்து செய்யப்படுவது இது முதல் முறையாக இருக்கும்.

    • உலகையே அச்சுறுத்தி வரும் கொரோனா நோய்த் தொற்றின் தாக்கம் காரணமாக டோக்கியோ ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகள் அடுத்த ஆண்டுக்கு ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டது. இதுதவிர, அந்தந்த நாடுகளில் நடைபெற இருந்த பல்வேறு போட்டிகளும் ரத்து செய்யப்படுகின்றன. இந்தியாவில் ஐபிஎல் போட்டி ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

•    கொரோனா நோயாளிகளுக்கு உணவு மற்றும் மருந்துகளை வழங்குவதற்கும், தொற்று கழிவுகளை சேகரிப்பதற்கும் பயன்படுத்தக்கூடிய இரண்டு ரோபாக்களை இந்தியன் இன்ஸ்டிடியூட் ஆப் டெக்னாலஜி ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் உருவாக்கி வருகின்றனர்.
  •  இந்த பணியில் தற்சமயம் ஈடுப்பட்டு வரும் ஐஐடி குவஹாத்தியின் மெக்கானிக்கல் இன்ஜினியரிங் மற்றும் எலக்ட்ரிக்கல் இன்ஜினியரிங் துறைகளைச் சேர்ந்த குழு இந்த நடவடிக்கை தனிமைப் படுத்தப்பட்ட வார்டுகளில் மனிதர்களின் தலையீட்டைக் குறைக்கும் என்று நம்புகிறது.

• ICCR United Against Corona Express through Art.
  • ICCR (Indian Council For Cultural Relations) launched a competition titled “United Against corona Express through Art the art in the time of Corona. The aim of the competition is to unite the citizens across the world.

• Lakminarayanan appointed as MD of Sundaram Home Finance.
  • Lakshminarayanan whole – time director of Sundaram Finance Limited, was appointed as the MD of its wholly owned home finance subsidiary Sundaram Home Finance. He was took charge on April 1^st 2020 and will replaced Srinivas Achaiya.
