TNPSC GROUP 2 & 2A

TNPSC exams is one the highly attended competitive exam. TNPSC have four Major division in service commission GROUP 1, GROUP 2, GROUP 3 and Group 4. In this Group 2 we have two divisions Group 2 and Group 2a. Group 2 is a interview post which have three stages of recruiting process whereas Group 2a is an non- Interview post which will have a single stage of recruitment. Recently we came across the group 2 Prelims exams. The question pattern was usual Multi Choice questions; Each Questions carry 1.5 mark total of 200 Questions with 300 marks. The cut off will be calculated by 200 marks. The Syllabus includes General English or Tamil, Physics, Chemistry, biology, Geography, Indian polity, Indian Democracy, Indian Economy, current affairs, Aptitude and logical reasoning.  Here the General English or Tamil will have the maximum marks.The candidates who have scored the required cut off will able to appear for Group 2 Main Exam followed by the Individual Interview. GROUP 2 & 2A MAIN EXAM

TNPSC GROUP 2 main exam will happen followed by GROUP 2 Preliminary Exam. The candidates who are successfully passed their group 2 with required cut-off will able to attend the Main exam. Unlike preliminary exams the main exam will have written answers rather than Multi Choice Questions. There are four parts in Main exam Question papers; each session will have specified words of answer with their respective marks. The candidate should make sure that the answers don’t exceed the required words to save time in their exams.
