Rights of Persons with Disability Act, (PwD Act) 2016 |
மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகளுக்கான உரிமைச் சட்டம் 2016 |
| The new act replaces the existing PwD Act, 1995. | இப்புதிய சட்டமானது, 1995ல் நடைமுறைக்கு வந்த மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் சட்டத்திற்கு பதிலாக இயற்றப்பட்டது. |

| (i) Disability has been defined based on an evolving and dynamic concept. |
(i) மாறிவரும் சூழலுக்கேற்ப மாற்றுத்திறன் என்பதன் பொருளானது வரையறை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது |
| (ii) The types of disabilities have been increased from existing 7 to 21. | (ii) மாற்றுத்திறன் (அ) இயலாமை என்ற எண்ணிக்கையை 7-லிருந்து 21-ஆக உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. |
| (iii) Speech and language Disability have been added. Acid Attack Victims have been included. The New categories of disabilities also included three blood disorders – Thalassemia, Hemophilia and Sickle cell disease. | (iii) இச்சட்டம் பேசஇயலாமை என்பதனையும், அமில வீச்சால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டோரையும் மாற்றுத்திறனாளியாக அங்கிகரிக்கின்றது. மேலும் இரத்த சம்பந்தப்பட்ட குறைபாடான தலசீமியா, இரத்த ஒழுகல், இரத்த சோகை ஆகியவையும் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. |
| (iv) Additional benefits such as reservation in higher education & government job, reservation in allocation of land, poverty alleviation schemes etc. have been provided | (iv) மாற்றுத் திளனாளிகளுக்கு கூடுதலாக பலன்கள் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. உதாரணம் : உயர்கல்வியில் இடஒதுக்கீடு, வேலைவாய்ப்பில் இடஒதுக்கீடு, நிலம் ஒதுக்குவதில் இடஒதுக்கீடு, வறுமை ஒழிப்புத் திட்டங்கள் போன்றவையாகும். |
| (v) Every child with disability between the age group of 6 and 18 years shall have the right to free education. |
(v) 6 முதல் 18 வயதுக்குள் உள்ள அனைத்து மாற்றுத்திறனாளி குழந்தைகளுக்கும் இலவச கல்விக்கான உரிமை. |
| (vi) For Strengthening the PMs Accessible India Campaign – to ensure accessibility in public buildings both (Govt and private) in a prescribed time – frame |
(vi) பிரதமரின் சுகன்யா பாரத் அபியான் திட்டத்தினை வலுப்படுத்தும் நோக்கத்தோடு – அனைத்து பொதுக்கட்டிடங்களையும் (அரசு/தனியார்) மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் அணுக வழியமைப்பது. |
| New Act – in line with the United Nation Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disability (UNCRPD) to which India is a signatory. | இப்புதிய சட்டமானது – ஐ.நா. மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் உரிமை ஒப்பந்தத்தின் அடிப்படையில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. மேலும் இந்தியா இவ்வொப்பந்தத்தில் கையெழுத்திட்டுள்ளது. |
