The Central Leather Research Institute (CSIR-CLRI) is a premier research institute under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Govt. of India with its headquarters in Chennai. It was established in 1948 as the first leather research institute in Asia with the mandate to promote industrialization of the leather sector in India.

CSIR- Central Leather Research Institute technical Assistant 2022

CSIR- Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI) recruits technical assistant every year through an open competitive examination. The application process for the same will start from March 2022.

The selection process of CSIR- CLRI comprises of two rounds- a written test followed by an interview.

The written test will consist of objective type questions from the following subjects- General Aptitude, Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability and Domain Knowledge. Candidates will be given 2 hours to attempt the written test.

Those who are selected as technical assistants will be posted at CSIR- CLRI headquarters in Chennai. After successful completion of training, they will be absorbed as permanent staff and will be eligible for all the benefits as per government norms.
