Bureau of Indian Standards Notification – 2022 The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has notified the standards for safety and quality of products related to electrical and electronics industry which will be effective from January 1, 2022. The notified standards are based on the recommendations of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Under these standards, all manufacturers will have to ensure that their products comply with the minimum safety requirements before they can be sold in the market.
