தற்போது பல்வேறு வழித்தடங்களில் ரயில்கள் சராசரியாக மணிக்கு 99 கி.மீ வேகத்தில் இயக்கப்படுகின்றன. தில்லி-வாரணாசி இடையே புதிதாக இயக்கப்படும் வந்தே பாரத் ரயில் மணிக்கு 104 கி.மீ வேகத்தில் இயக்கப்படுகிறது. ரயில்களை மணிக்கு 160 கி.மீ மற்றும் 320 கி.மீ வேகத்தில் இயக்க ரயில்வே இலக்கு நிர்ணயித்துள்ளது.

The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) joined hands with the Goa Government to generate employment opportunities in Goa. They inaugurated a series of initiatives.
Electric potter wheels to 160 families were distributed. New Model Spinning wheels to 50 trained women were also distributed. There were no spinning and weaving activities in Goa earlier.

The oldest known natural pearl in the world has been discovered by Abu Dhabi archaeologists working at a Neolithic site on Marawah Island. Dubbed the ‘Abu Dhabi Pearl’, it was found in layers that have been radiocarbon dated to 5,800-5,600 BCE.
The Emirates News Agency said that the discovery is a proof that pearls and oysters were being used in the UAE nearly 8,000 years ago, and represents the earliest known evidence for pearling yet discovered anywhere in the world.
President Ram Nath Kovind attended the enthronement ceremony of Japan’s Emperor Naruhito. Naruhito is the 126th monarch according to Japan’s traditional order .
The President arrived in Tokyo after concluding his five-day state visit to the Philippines.
