- ஒருங்கிணைந்த நிதி மற்றும் மனிதவள மேலாண்மைத் திட்டம் (Integrated Financial and Human Resource Management system) தமிழகத்தில் நவம்பர் மாதத்தில் அமைக்க உள்ளதாக மாநில கருவூலத்துறை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
- தமிழகத்தில் முதல் முறையாக ஜுலை 05 முதல் கோவை முதல் சேலம் வரை செல்லும் இடைநில்லா அரசுப் பேருந்தில் நடத்துனர் இல்லாமல் இயக்கப்பட்டது.
இந்திய நிகழ்வுகள்
- 19-வது உணவு தொடர்பான அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப உலக மாநாடு (world congress of food Science and Technology) அக்டோபர் மாதத்தில் நவி மும்பையில் நடைபெற உள்ளது.
- கர்பிணிகளின் நலனுக்காக தொடங்கப்பட்ட ‘பிரதம மந்திரி சுரக்ஷித் மாத்ருத்வ் (Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan) திட்டத்தை செயல்படுத்தும் சிறந்த மாநிலமாக ‘இமாச்சல் பிரதேசம்’ தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- PMSM –> இத்திட்டமானது தாய்மார்களின் இறப்பு விகிதம் (Materinal Mortality Rate), குழந்தை இறப்பு விகிதம் (Infant Mortality Rate) ஆகியவற்றை குறைக்க உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.

உலக நிகழ்வுகள்
- சீனா தனது நாட்டில் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் வாழும் குடிமக்களை கண்காணிப்பதற்காக GRS வசதியுடன் பொருத்தப்பட்ட Dove என்று பெயரிடப்பட்ட பறவை போல் பறக்கும் வடிவிலான உளவு விமானங்களை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.

- ஹைதராபாத் உயர்நீதிமன்றம் 1956-ல் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. ஜுன் 2, 2014 முதல் இந்தீமன்றம் ஆந்திரா மற்றும் தெலுங்கானா இரு மாநிலங்களுக்கும் பொதுவான நீதிமன்றமாக செயல்படுகிறது.

NATIONAL NEWS
- Madhya Pradesh, the government has launched an outstanding power bill waiver scheme and subsidized power scheme ‘Sambal’ for labourers and poor families.
- Under the scheme, the Below Poverty Line (BPL) families would be provided electricity at a cost of 200 rupees per month.
- Union Minister of State for Culture(I/c), Dr. Mahesh Shrama, inaugurated exhibition titled “Arth – art for earth” at IGNCA, New Delhi.
- ‘ARTH – ART FOR EARTH’ by Manav Gupta consists of “Excavations in Hymns of Clay”-a suite of environmental art installations by Manav Gupta weaving all of them with a storyline and poetry.
- The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has developed and launched a mobile app named ‘GST Verify’ to protect interest of consumers.
- The application is to verify if the person collecting GST from the consumer is eligible to collect it or not.
- It also provides the details of the person / company collecting GST.
- The Sunil Mehta committee which was formed with a view to tackle Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) and creating credit capacity submitted its report with recommendations to Finance Minister Piyush Goyal.
- The Sunil Mehta panel presented project ‘Sashakt’ and has recommended a five-pronged strategy to deal with stressed assets.
- The first ‘pad abort’ test critical for a future human space mission was conducted successfully.
- The test was conducted at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota.
- The Crew Escape System is an emergency escape measure to quickly pull the crew module, the astronaut cabin — along with astronauts out to a safe distance from the launch vehicle in the event of a launch abort.
INTERNATIONAL NEWS
- India will be participating in the Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction to be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 03-06 July 2018.
- The theme of the meet is ‘Preventing Disaster Risk: Protecting Sustainable Development’.
APPOINTMENTS
- The Cabinet has approved the appointment of Former Chief Justice of Patna High Court, Justice L. Narasimha Reddy as the Chairman of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT).
- UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has appointed a veteran Uruguayan Army official José Eladio Alcain as head of the United Nations mission tasked with monitoring the ceasefire line between India and Pakistan.
