தமிழ்நாடு மின் முகமையின் மூலம், மின் மாவட்ட திட்டத்தின் கீழ் சாதி வருமானம் உள்ளிட்ட சான்றிதழ்களைவீட்டில் இருந்தபடியே பெறும் வகையில் UMANG என்ற புதிய செயலியை தமிழக அரசு வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.

டெல்லி அரசானது நாட்டுப்பற்று மற்றும் தியனத்துடன் மகிழ்ச்சிக்கான (Happiness Curriculum) என்ற புதிய பாடத்திட்டத்திட்டத்தினை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
நாள்கோறும் 45 நிமிடங்கள் நடைபெறும் இப்பாடத் திட்டத்தை திபெத் புத்த மதத் தலைவர் தலாய் லாமா தொடக்கிவைத்தார்.
இந்தியாவிலேயே முதன் முறையாக அரசு சார்பில் மின்னணுக் கழிவுகளை மறு சுழற்சி செய்வதற்கான புதிய சுத்திகரிப்பு மையம் பெங்களுரில் அமைய உள்ளது.
இந்தியரின் ஒட்டுமொத்த மின்னணுக் கழிவுகளில் அதிக அளவில் மின் கழிவுகளை உருவாக்கும் நகரங்களின் வரிசையில் பெங்களுரு மூன்றாவது இடத்தில் உள்ளது.
சி-விஜில் செயலி தேர்தல்களின் போது நடக்கும் விதிமீறல்கள் தொடர்பான புகைப்படம் வீடியோ போன்றவற்றை அனுப்ப இந்திய தேர்தல் ஆணையம் இச்செயலியை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
உலகின் மிகப்பெரிய எஸ்ட்ரூயரின் முதலைகளின் வாழ்விடமாக ஒரிசாவில் உள்ள பிடர்கானிக்கா தேசிய பூங்கா தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

விண்வெளியில் உள்ள நட்சத்திர குடும்பத்தில் (பிடி எஸ் 70 என்ற புதிய கிரகம் உருவாவதை ஜரோப்பா விஞ்ஞானிகள் கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளனர்.
இக் கிரகம் வியாழன் கிரகத்தை விட பெரிதாக இருப்பதாக விஞ்ஞானிகள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

சர்வதேச டி20 போட்டியில் அதிக ரன்கள் குவித்த வீரர் என்ற பெருமையை ஆஸ்திரேலியாவின் கேப்படன் ஆரோன் பிஞ்சி என்பவர் பெற்றுள்ளார்.
