வாடகை மற்றும் ஒப்பந்தங்கள் தொடர்பான வழக்குகளுக்கு தீர்வுகாண்பதற்காக தமிழகத்தில் சென்னை உள்ளிட்ட 32 மாவட்டங்களிலும் வாடகை நீதிமன்றங்களை உருவாக்க தமிழ்நாடு வீட்டு வசதி மற்றும் நகர்ப்புற வளர்ச்சித்துறை அரசாணை பிறப்பித்துள்ளது. இவை, தமிழ்நாடு உரிமைகள் ஒழுங்குமுறைகள் மற்றும் குத்தகையாளர் மற்றும் நில உரிமையாளர்களின் பொறுப்புகள் சட்டம், 2017 இன் பிரிவு 32 இன் படி அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

உலகளாவிய விமான பயணிகளின் உரிமைகள் வல்லுநரான ஏர்ஹேல்ப் (Air help), உலகின் சிறந்த விமான நிலையங்களின் பட்டியலை வெளியிட்டுள்ளனர்.
இதில் ஹைதராபாத்திலுள்ள ராஜீவ் காந்தி சர்வதேச விமான நிலையம் உலகின் எட்டாவது சிறந்த விமான நிலையமாக தேர்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இதில் முதலிடத்தில் கத்தாரின் ஹமாத் சர்வதேச விமான நிலையம் உள்ளது.

ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் பொதுச் சபைக்கான (UNGA) இன் புதிய தலைவராக பேராசிரியர் டிஜானி முகமது பேன்டி நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

The WHO (World Health Organization) has published a research paper titled ‘Forecasting the future need and gaps in requirements for public health professionals in India upto 2026’ in the ‘WHO South-East Asia Journal of Public Health‘, in which it states that India faces critical shortage of healthcare professionals, especially in Bihar, Jharkhand, U.P. (Uttar Pradesh) & Rajasthan .
The Higher Education Department has strictly issued new norms for the University Grants Commission- funded scheme which are meant for the faculties of colleges and universities who pursue
This order is issued after the detection of numerous violations by the beneficiaries of the scheme.

The 58th Venice Biennale is held from 11th May to 24th November 2019 at Venice, Italy After a long gap of 8 years, India has again marked its presence at the 58th Venice Biennale, Italy which will be held from 11th May till 24th November 2019 (6 month’s period). The theme at the is ‘Our Time for a Future Caring’.
The theme for Indian Pavillion is titled ‘Hundred and Fifty years of Mahatma Gandhi’.
In Geneva International Conference Centre (CICG) Geneva, Switzerland, the 14th meeting Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention (BC COP-14), the 9th meeting Conference of the Parties to the Rotterdam Convention (RC COP-9) and Stockholm Convention (SC COP-9) held from April 29 to May 10, 2019.

APPOINTMENTS
The United Nations Secretary–General Antonio Guterres has appointed 17 new advocates to achieve Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs). These include the Indian actress Dia Mirza and the Chief of Alibaba Group, Jack Ma.
The appointed UN advocates must drive action and strengthen the global political will to achieve the SDGs.
AWARDS
On 10th May 2019, IPS officer Chhaya Sharma, who headed the investigation team of the infamous Nirbhaya gang-rape and murder case, has been conferred with the 2019 McCain Institute Award for Courage and Leadership.
She has guided teams in the detection and investigation of sensitive criminal cases and protection of human rights.
