• கெரோனா நோய்த் தடுப்புக்காக போர்க்கால அடிப்படையில் தமிழக அரசு நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து வருகிறது. இதற்காக அரசின் சார்பில் ரூ.3780 கோடி நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
  • 10,158 படுக்கைகள், மருத்துவமனைகளில் தயார் நிலையில் உள்ளன. மேலும், படுக்கை எண்ணிக்கையை அதிகரிக்க உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்.

தேசிய நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• தேசிய மக்கள்தொகை பதிவேட்டை (என்பிஆர்) புதுப்பிக்கும் பணிகள், மக்கள்தொகை கணக்கெடுப்பு 2021-இன் முதல்கட்டப் பணிகள் ஆகியவை ஒத்திவைக்கப்படுவதாக மத்திய அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது.
  கரோனா நோய் தொற்று பரவலை தடுக்கும் நடவடிக்கையாக நாடு முழுவதும் 21 நாள்களுக்கு ஊரடங்கு உத்தரவு பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள நிலையில் அரசு இந்த முடிவை மேற்கொண்டுள்ளது. முன்னதாக இந்தப் பணிகள் ஏப்ரல் 1 முதல் செப்டம்பர் 30-ஆம் தேதிக்குள்ளாக நடத்தி முடிக்கப்பட இருந்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
  • செய்தித்துளிகள்:
    • மக்கள்தொகைக் கணக்கெடுப்பு 2021-இன் பணிகளானது, ஏப்ரல் முதல் செப்டம்பர் வரை முதல் கட்டமாகவும், அடுத்த ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 9 முதல் 28 வரை 2-ஆம் கட்டமாகவும் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட இருந்தது.
    • இதில் முதல்கட்டப் பணிகளோடு, அஸ்ஸாம் தவிர அனைத்து மாநிலங்கள், யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களில் என்பிஆரை புதுப்பிக்கும் பணிகளையும் சேர்த்து மேற்கொள்ள திட்டமிடப்பட்டிருந்தது.

 

 

• பிகாரில் கரோனா வைரஸால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு சிகிச்சையளிக்க மத்திய உணவுத்துறை அமைச்சர் ராம்விலாஸ் பாஸ்வான் மார்ச் 25 ஆம் தேதி அன்று ரூ.1 கோடி நிதியுதவி வழங்கினார்.
  • ‘கரோனா வைரஸ் பாதிப்புக்கு சிகிச்சையளிக்கவும், தேவையான மருத்துவ உபகரணங்களை வாங்கவும் எம்.பி. நிதியில் இருந்து நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது’ என தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

    • தங்கள் தொகுதிகளில் மக்கள் நலத்திட்டங்களை மேற்கொள்ள எம்.பி. நிதியின் கீழ் நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர்களுக்கு ஆண்டுதோறும் ரூ.5 கோடி வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

 

 

 

• மணல் சிற்பத்தின் மூலம் கொரோனா வைரஸ் குறித்து விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்தி வரும் ஒடிசாவை சேர்ந்த பிரபல மணல் சிற்பக்கலைஞர் சுதர்சன் பட்நாயக்கிற்கு உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பு பாராட்டு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
  • பொதுமக்கள் சமூக விலகலை கடைபிடிக்க வலியுறுத்தி புவனேஷ்வரில் மணற்சிற்பங்களை உருவாக்கியுள்ளார்.
  • இதனை பாராட்டும் வகையில் உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பின் டைரக்டர் ஜெனரல் அதானோம் கெப்ரேயுசு உலகிற்கு வலுவான செய்திகளை சொல்ல கலை ஒரு சக்திவாய்ந்த ஆயுதம் என்று குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.

• கரோனா பரவல் எதிரொலியாக விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள ஊரடங்கின் காரணமாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள மக்களுக்கு, ரூ. 50 லட்சம் மதிப்புள்ள அரிசியை முன்னாள் கேப்டன் சவ்ரவ் கங்குலி இலவசமாக வழங்குகிறார்.
  • கரோனா பரவுவதைத் தடுக்கும் பொருட்டு மார்ச் 24-ஆம் தேதி நள்ளிரவு முதல் வரும் ஏப்ரல் மாதம் 14-ஆம் தேதி வரை இந்தியா முழுவதும் ஊரடங்கு உத்தரவு பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
  • இந்நிலையில் விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள ஊரடங்கின் காரணமாக பாதிக்கபட்டுள்ள மக்களுக்கு, ரூ. 50 லட்சம் மதிப்புள்ள அரிசியை முன்னாள் கேப்டன் சவ்ரவ் கங்குலி இலவசமாக வழங்குகிறார்.

    • சீனாவில் வூஹான் மாகாணத்தில் கண்டறியப்பட்ட கரோனா வைரஸ் தற்போது உலகத்திற்கே அச்சுறுத்தலாக உருமாறியுள்ளது.
    • இதுவரை இந்தியாவில் 539 பேர் இந்த வைரஸ் பாதிப்பிற்கு உள்ளாகியுள்ளதாக அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அத்துடன் பத்து பேர் பலியாகியுள்ளனர்.

• On March 23, 2020 Goa health minister VishwajitRane launched Test Yourself Goa, a self-assessment tool for COVID-19to help people identify if they are infected by the virus without visiting a doctor or hospital.
  • Goa has partnered with InnovaccerInc,a United States (US)-based healthcare data analytics company, to launch the tool.

• On March 24, 2020, After the lockdown became ineffective,PunjabChief Minister (CM) Captain Amarinder Singh has ordered an indefinite curfew across the state. With this, it becomes the 1^st state in the country to take drastic measure to stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

• On March 25, 2020, the Union Cabinet approved extra supply of food grains via rations shops. The monthly quota of subsidized food grains is to be increased from 2 kg to 7 kg. The step has been taken to help people during the lock down.

• After a deadly Coronavirus, now a death has been reported in China’s Yunnan province due to Hantavirus infection, a virus spread from rodents. Rodents are a type of small mammal with sharp front teeth which include mouse, squirrel, or beaver, hamster etc.
  • However, this is not a new virus and it does not spread from person to person.
