• கொரோனா வைரஸ் தொற்று நாட்டில் தீவிரமடைந்துள்ளதை அடுத்து, மக்கள்தொகை கணக்கெடுப்புப் பணிகள், என்பிஆர் மேம்படுத்தும் பணிகள் காலவரையின்றி தாமதமாகும் என்று உள்துறை அமைச்சக வட்டாரங்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன.
  • நாடு முழுவதும் ஏப்ரல் 1-ம் தேதி சென்செஸ், என்பிஆர் பணிகளின் முதல் கட்டம் தொடங்கத் திட்டமிட்ட நிலையில் அது ஒத்திவைக்கப்படுகிறது.

    • மத்திய அரசு கொண்டுவந்த குடியுரிமைத் திருத்தச் சட்டம், என்பிஆர், என்ஆர்சி ஆகியவற்றுக்கு எதிராக பல்வேறு நகரங்களில் போராட்டம் நடந்து வருகிறது.
    • என்பிஆர் பணிகளுக்காக மத்திய அரசு ரூ.3,914 கோடி ஒதுக்கி இருந்தது.

 

 

• நாடுமுழுவதும் மக்கள் ஊரடங்கை கடை பிடித்து வருவதற்கும், கொரோனா எதிர்ப்பு களத்தில் போராடும் சுகாதாரத்துறை பணியாளர்களை பாராட்டும் வகையில் 5 மணியளவில் ஆங்காங்கே இருந்து ஒசை எழுப்பியதற்கு மக்களுக்கு பிரதமர் மோடி நன்றி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
  • ‘மக்கள் ஊரடங்கு : கரோனா வைரஸ் எதிர்ப்பு போராட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்றுள்ள ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் இந்த நாடு நன்றி தெரிவிக்கிறது. கொடிய நோயை எதிர்த்து போராடும் நீண்ட நெடிய போராட்டத்தில் நமக்கு கிடைத்த முதல் வெற்றி இது” எனக் கூறியுள்ளார்.

• கொரோனா தடுப்பு நடவடிக்கைகள் குறித்து மத்திய அரசின் கேபினட் செயலர், பிரதமரின் முதன்மைச் செயலர் மற்றும் மாநில தலைமைச் செயலர்கள் பங்கேற்ற உயர்மட்டக் கூட்டம் டெல்லியில் நடைபெற்றது.
  • டெல்லி, சத்தீஸ்கர் உள்பட 21 மாநிலங்களில் உள்ள 75 மாவட்டங்கள் முடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. புதுச்சேரியில் மாஹே மாவட்டம் முடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• ஜூனியர் என்பிஏ கூடைப்பந்து திட்டத்தின் கீழ் தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த 550 பள்ளிகள் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. கூடைப்பந்தை உலகம் முழுவதும் பிரபலப்படுத்தும் நோக்கில் ஜூனியர் என்பிஏ திட்டம் செயல்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.
  • ஒவ்வொரு நாட்டிலும் சிறப்பாக ஆடும் 13 வயதுக்குட்பட்ட சிறுவர், சிறுமியர் இத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டு சிறப்பு பயிற்சியும் அளிக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்தியா முழுவதும் 13000 பள்ளிகளில் இருந்து அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 1 கோடி பேருக்கு பயிற்சி

முக்கிய தினங்கள்  

 

• உலக நீர் நாள் (World Day for Water அல்லது World Water Day), ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் அவையின் தீர்மானத்துக்கு இணங்க ஆண்டு தோறும் மார்ச் 22 ஆம் நாள் உலகெங்கும் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
  • நீர் வளத்தின் ஒட்டுமொத்தத் திட்டத்தையும் நிர்வாகத்தையும் மேம்படுத்தி நீர் வள பாதுகாப்பை வலுப்படுத்தி நாள்தோறும் கடுமையாகியுள்ள நீர் பற்றாக்குறை பிரச்சினையை தீர்ப்பது என்பது தீர்மானம் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டதன் நோக்கமாகும்.
  • அதேவேளையில் மக்களிடையே விரிவாக பிரச்சாரம் செய்து மக்களிடையே அந்தந்த நாட்டின் நீர் வளப் பாதுகாப்பு பற்றி விழிப்புணர்வு வளர்த்தி ஏற்படுத்தவும் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.

• On March 19, 2020, A 30- days long capacity building program called “Tech for Tribal” has been launched by the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED),which works under Ministry of Tribal Affairs in association with IIT-Kanpur ,IIT-Roorkee, IIM Indore, Kalinga Institute of Social Science, Bhubaneshwar (Odisha) and SRIJAN, Jaipur (Rajasthan) to provide entrepreneurship skills to the tribal people.

• On March 21, 2020, the Union Cabinet approved Ayush Health and Wellness Centre under Ayushman Bharat Mission .Under the approval, an expenditure of Rs 3,395 crores have been allocated.
  • The centres are to be constructed within a time span of five years. On the whole, GoI has planned to operationalise 12,500 centres.

• Government is keeping a close watch on the prices of every essential commodity. The government has fixed the prices for face masks and sanitizers in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.

• On March 21, 2020 the United Nations (UN) released the 8th World Happiness Report 2020 to measure the happiness of people of 156 countries where India(3.573) ranks in 144th position & Finland(7.809) tops the 3rd time.
  • This is the 1st time India ranked among the least happy countries.

• The World Cities Summit was recently postponed due to the threat of Corona Virus. The summit that is to be held in Singapore has been postponed to June 20, 2021.   • This year the summit was to be held under the theme Theme: Liveable and Sustainable Cities: Adapting to a Disrupted World
