• சமீபத்திய QS உலகபல்கலைக்கழகதரவரிசைகளின் பட்டியலில் அமெரிக்காவில் உள்ளமாசாசுசெட்ஸ் தொழில்நுட்பநிறுவனம்முதலிடத்தில் தரவரிசைப் படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது
  • இந்தியப் பல்கலைக்கழகங்களின் தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலில் மும்பையில் உள்ள இந்தியத் தொழில்நுட்பநிறுவனம் முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது
  • இந்தப் பட்டியலில் முதல் 500 இடங்களில் 9 இந்தியப் பல்கலைக் கழகங்கள் உள்ளன.

 

 

• நியமிக்கப்பட்டபெயர்கள் & எண்களுக்கான உலகளாவிய இணையஅமைப்பும் (ICANN) இந்தியதகவல் தொழிநுட்பத்துறைஅமைப்பான நாஸ்காமும் இணைந்து, இணையத்தைப் பயன்படுத்திசாதனங்கள் மற்றும் உட்கட்டமைப்பைநிர்வகிக்கப்பயன்படும் அடையாளங்காட்டி தொழிநுட்பத்தை(Identifier Technology) உருவாக்கவுள்ளன.
  • இந்த இணைவின் கீழ்,தயாரிப்பாளர் அல்லது விநியோகஸ்தர்கள் தங்களது வணிகத்தை நிறுத்திய சூழலிலும்கூட,களப்பெயர்முறைமையைப் (DNS) பயன்படுத்தி இணையஉலகின் சாதனங்களைப் புதுப்பிப்பதில் இரு அமைப்புளும் கவனம் செலுத்துகினறன.

 

 

• கனடாவின் மாண்ட்ரியலில் உள்ளபன்னாட்டுகுடிசார்வான்பயணஅமைப்பு(ICAO) கவுன்சிலில், இந்தியாவின் பிரதிநிதியாக 1992 ஆம் ஆண்டுத் தொகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த இந்தியவருவாய் சேவை(வருமானவரிபணிநிலை) அதிகாரி ஷெபாலி ஜூனேஜா நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். இவரதுபணிக்காலம் 3 ஆண்டுகாலமாகும் இவருக்குமுன்,அலோக் சேகர் IAS இப்பதிவியில் இருந்தார்

 

 

• ப்ளும்பெர்க் NEF (BloombergNEF) வெளியிட்டுள்ளபுதியஎரிசக்திஅவுட்லுக் அறிக்கை 2019 New Energy Outlook (NEO) report 2019 உலகெங்கிலும் மூன்றில் இரண்டுபங்குநாடுகளில் காற்றுமற்றும் சூரியசக்திபுதியசக்தியாகும்,மேலும் அவை 2050 க்குள் மின்சாரஅமைப்பில் கிட்டத்தட்டபாதியைஉருவாக்கும் என்பதுகுறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

• Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development has recently launched Integrated Scheme Samagra Shiksha  for  the School Education which will be effective from 2018-19.
  • Self Defence training for girls is under the scheme Samagra Shiksha. The scheme is in action by rising the number of crimes against girls and women in our country\

 

• The Bihar Government have recently banned the felling of trees, for citing increasing amount of pollution as well as a fatal heat waves. , however Trees on private land, can be felled in the absence of a tree-protection Act in the state Bihar.

 

• The driving licenses format is planned to br modified by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways , the present driving licenses to smart card type driving licenses.
  • Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has prescribed a common standard format and design of the Driving Licence

 

INTERNATIONAL NEWS

• The International Olympic Committee have recently opened its 145 million Swiss francs , the New Headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland which is exactly 125 years after the Olympic Games was revived.

 

ECONOMY

• To enhance its relationship across the small and medium enterprises (SMEs), State Bank of India (SBI) is planning to expand its market in Singapore .The SBI has served the Singapore retail and corporate sectors bank since 2008.
  • SBI already has six branches and ATM services under ATM5 network .

 

SPORTS

• In Boxing, seven medals were clinched by India’s junior women pugilists, which includes five gold, while the team was adjudged the best of the tournament in the Black Forest Cup in Villingen, Schwenningen, Germany.
  • The honours of best boxer and promising player of the tournament claimed by Haryana’s Neha (54kg) and Karnataka’s Anju Devi (50kg)
