• மத்திய அரசின் லட்சியத் திட்டமான ‘ஓர் நாடு ஓர் ரேஷன் அட்டை இதன் கீழ் பயனாளிகள் நாட்டின் எந்த ரேஷன் கடையிலிருந்தும் மானிய விலையில் உணவு தானியங்களை வாங்க முடியும் 2020 ஜுலை 1 முதல் தொடங்கும்.
  • ஆந்திரா, குஜராத், ஹரியானா, ஜார்க்கண்ட், கர்நாடகா, கேரளா, மகாராஷ்டிரா, ராஜஸ்தான், தெலுங்கானா மற்றும் திரிபுரா ஆகியவை ஏற்கனவே பொது விநியோக முறை முலம் வழங்கும் மாநிலங்களாகும்.

 

 

• வேட்டையாடுபவர்களை எதிர்த்துப் போராடுவதற்கும் விலங்குகளின் நடத்தைகளைப் புரிந்து கொள்வதற்கும் பயிற்சி பெற்ற 82 பேர் கொண்ட தேசிய பூங்காவில் (கே.என்.பி) தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
  • சிறப்புப் படையை அமைக்கும் செயல்முறை 2015 இல் தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
  • இந்த தேசிய பூங்கா அசாமின் கோலாகாட் மற்றும் நாகான் மாவட்டங்களில் அமைந்துள்ளது.
  • இது உலகின் மிக அதிக எண்ணிக்கையிலான ஒற்றை கொம்பு காண்டாமிருகத்தைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. அதாவது சுமார் 68%

 

 

சர்வதேச நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• ஒற்றை பயன்பாட்டு பிளாஸ்டிக் ஷாப்பிங் பைகளை நியூசிலாந்து அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக தடை செய்துள்ளது.
  • புதிய விதிகளின் கீழ், மெல்லிய ஒற்றை பயன்பாட்டு பிளாஸ்டிக் ஷாப்பிங் பைகளை இனி வழங்க
  • முடியாது, ஆனால் மீண்டும் பயன்படுத்தக்கூடிய கேரியர்கள் அனுமதிக்கப்படுகின்றன.
  • துடையை மீறும் நிறுவனங்கள் 100,000 நியூசிலாந்து டாலர்கள் வரை அபராதம் உட்பட கடுமையான அபராதங்களை எதிர்கொள்ள நேரிடும்.

  • இந்த பயிற்சியை ஐக்கிய அரபு எமிரேட் உள்துறை அமைச்சகம் (MoI) நடத்துகிறது.
  • சர்வதேச பாதுகாப்பு கூட்டணி (ஐஎஸ்ஏ) நாடுகளின் சட்ட அமலாக்க முகமைகளின் 50 பிரதிநிதிகள் இந்த பயிற்சியில் பங்கேற்கின்றனர்.

 

 

• இந்திய விமானப்படை (IAF) மற்றும் ஆர்மீ டி எர் (Armee de I’Air) (பிரெஞ்சு விமானப்படை) ஆகியவை மான்ட் டி மார்சனில் (Mont de Marsan) பிரான்சில் இருதரப்பு விமானப் பயிற்சியான கருடா VI இல் பங்கேற்கின்றன.
  • IAF-FAF க்கு இடையிலான கூட்டுப் பயிற்சியின் கடைசி பதிப்பு ஜுன் 2014 இல் ராஜஸ்தானின் ஜோத்பூரில் உள்ள விமானப்படை நிலையத்தில் நடைபெற்றது.
  • இந்த ஆண்டு உடற்பயிற்சியின் 6 வது பதிப்பாகும். இது 2019 ஜுலை 1 முதல் 12 ஜுலை வரை நடைபெறுகிறது.

 

 

விளையாட்டு நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• இந்திய குத்துச்சண்டை வீரர் வைபவ் யாதவ் WBCஆசியா சில்வர் வெல்டர்வெயிட் சாம்பியனாகிவிட்டார்.
  • இது தாய்லாந்தின் பட்டாயாவில் நடைபெற்றது.
  • இந்த சண்டையை ஆசிய குத்துச்சண்டை கவுன்சில் நடத்தியது மற்றும் உலக குத்துச்சண்டை கவுன்சில் (WBC) ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது.

 

 

அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பம்

 

• அமெரிக்காவின் விண்வெளி நிறுவனமான நாசா, வாழ்க்கையின் அறிகுறிகளைத் தேடுவதற்காக பறக்கும் மல்டி ரோவர் வாகனமான ‘டிராகன்ஃபிளை’ (‘Dragonfly’’) சனியின் நிலவுவான டைட்டனுக்கு அனுப்ப திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.
  • இது 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டில் தொடங்கப்பட்டு 2034 ஆம் ஆண்டில் சனியின் மிகப்பெரிய சந்திரனில் தரையிறங்கும்.
  • இது சனியின் மிகப்பெரிய சந்திரனாகும் மற்றும் சூரிய குடும்பத்தில் வியாழனின் சந்திரனான கேன்மீடிற்குப் (Ganymede) பிறகு இருக்கும் இரண்டாவது பெரிய சந்திரன் ஆகும்.

 

 

விருதுகள்

 

• சமூக வளர்ச்சியில் கார்ப்பரேட் சமூக பொறுப்புணர்வு நிதியைப் பயன்படுத்துவதற்காக ஜனாதிபதி விருதுக்கு தேசிய அலுமினியம் கம்பெனி லிமிடெட் (NALCO) தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
  • வறுமைக் கோட்டுக்கு கீழ் உள்ள குடும்பங்களின் பெண்கள் கல்வியை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காக NALCO 2015 இல் “அலியாலி ஜியா” என்ற திட்டத்தைத் தொடங்கினர்.
  • NALCO ஒரு ஒடிசாவைச் சேர்ந்த நவரத்னா நிறுவனம் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

• பாரத் சஞ்சார் நிகம் லிமிடெட் நிறுவனத்தின் தலைவர் மற்றும் நிர்வாக இயக்குநராக பி.கே. புர்வார் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
  • ஜுலை 1 முதல் மூன்று மாத காலத்திற்கு அவர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
  • அவருக்கு பதிலாக அனுபம் ஸ்ரீவாஸ்தவா நியமிக்கப்படுவார்.

NATIONAL NEWS

• The central government’s ambitious project of ‘One Nation One Ration Card’, under which beneficiaries can buy subsidized food grains from any ration shop in the country will begin on 1 July 2020.
  • Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Tripura are the states already providing portability of Public Distribution System (PDS) entitlements.

 

• An 82-member Special Rhino Protection Force who are trained to combat poachers and understand animal behaviour was recently deployed in Kaziranga National Park (KNP).The process of setting up special force was initiated in 2015.
  • This national park is located in Golaghat and Nagaon districts of Assam. It is home to World’s largest population of One Horned Rhinoceros i.e. about 68%

 

INTERNATIONAL NEWS

• New Zealand has officially banned single-use plastic shopping bags. Under the new rules, thin plastic single-use shopping bags can no longer be supplied, but reusable carriers are allowed.
  • Companies that break the ban will face heavy penalties, including fines of up to 100,000 New Zealand dollars.

 

• The International Security Alliance’s first Joint Exercise ISALEX19 started in Abu Dhabi.
  • The exercise is hosted by the UAE Ministry of Interior (MoI). 50 representatives from law enforcement agencies of the International Security Alliance (ISA) countries are participated in this exercise.

 

• Indian Air Force (IAF) and French Air Force are participating in Garuda VI, a bilateral air exercise at Mont de Marsan in france.
  • The last edition of joint exercise between IAF-FAF was held in June 2014 at Air Force Station Jodhpur, Rajasthan.This year is the 6th edition of exercise which is taking place from 1 July to 12 July 2019.

 

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

• America’s space agency, National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA) has planned to send a flying multi rover vehicle, ’Dragonfly’ to Saturn’s moon Titan to search for signs of life.
  • It will be launched in 2026 and set to land on Saturn’s largest moon in 2034.

 

SPORTS

• Indian pro boxer Vaibhav Yadav has become the WBC Asia Silver Welterweight Champion. He defeated Thailand’s Fahpetch Singmanassak in the title bout held in Pattaya, Thailand.
  • The fight was conducted by the Asian Boxing Council and approved by the World Boxing Council (WBC).

 

APPOINTMENTS

• K.Purwar has been appointed as the  Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. He has been appointed for a period of three months starting July 1.
  • He will be replace Anupam Shrivastava.

 

AWARDS

• National Aluminium Company Limited has been selected for President’s award for utilisation of Corporate Social Responsibility fund in social development.
  • NALCO started a scheme “Aliali Jhia” in 2015 to promote the education of Girls of below poverty line families.
