• OBC வகுப்பினருக்கு மத்தியபிரதேச அரசு இட ஒதுக்கீட்டை 14 சதவீதத்திலிருந்து 27 சதவீதமாக உயர்த்தியுள்ளது.
  • இதன் மூலம் மத்தியபிரதேசத்தின் மொத்த இட ஒதுக்கீடு 73 சதவீதமாக உயர்ந்துள்ளது.
  • தேர்வுத் துளிகள்:
  • இந்திரசகாணி எதிர் இந்திய அரசு வழக்கு– 1993
  • இட ஒதுக்கீடு தொடர்பான உச்சநீதிமன்ற வழிகாட்டுதல் படி இட ஒதுக்கீடு 50% தாண்ட கூடாது.

 

 

 

விளையாட்டு நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• இத்தாலியின் நாபோலியில் நடைபெற்ற 100 மீ ஓட்டப்பந்தயத்தில் இந்திய வீராங்கனை ‘டூட்டிசந்த்’ தங்கப்பதக்கம் வென்றார்.
  • உலக அளவிலான 100 மீ ஓட்டத்தில் தங்கம் வென்ற முதல் இந்திய வீராங்கனை டூட்டிசந்த் ஆகும்.

  • 1994 –ம் ஆண்டு நடைபெற்ற உலக மக்கள் தொகை மற்றும் வளர்ச்சிக்கான சந்திப்பின் நினைவாக இத்தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
  • தற்போது 25-வது ஆண்டு உலக மக்கள் தொகை தினத்தை ஐ.நா கொண்டாடுகிறது.

• பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு அமைப்பானது (DRDO) நாக் ஏவுகணைகளை வெற்றிகரமாக சோதித்துள்ளது.

• The Madhya Pradesh cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Monday announced that the reservation for OBCs will be hiked from 14% to 27% in government jobs and educational facilities.
  • At present, OBCs have 14% reservation in the state, while Scheduled Castes and Tribes have 36%.

 

 

• The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has greeted everyone, especially the people of Tripura on the start of the auspicious Kharchi Pooja.
  • This is a festival held in tripura India.

 

 

• Six Rajya sabha candidates were selected from Tami Nadu , These six members were selected with any without any competitors.
  • The term of office of six members — T. Rathinavel, V. Maitreyan, K. R. Arjunan, R. Lakshmanan , D. Raja (CPI) and Kanimozhi.

 

SCIENCE AND TECH UPDATES

• The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) on Tuesday successfully test fired anti-tank missile ‘Nag’ in a desert in the western sector of Rajasthan.
  • The missile successfully destroyed the target in today’s mission,” defence sources said.

 

SPORTS

• Dutee Chand has become the first Indian athlete to clinch a gold medal in women’s 100-metre sprint at the 30th Summer University Games in Naples, Italy.
  • She completed the distance in 11.32 seconds.

 

IMPORTANT DAYS

• World Population day is observed on July 11 every year, which seeks to raise awareness of global population issues. 
  • Theme of 2019 :  specific theme is not decided and calls for global attention to the unfinished business of the 1994 International Conference on Population and Development.
