தேசிய நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• மாநில அரசின் வேலைவாய்ப்புகள் மற்றும் கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் பொதுப் பிரிவினரில் பொருளாதார ரீதியாக பின்தங்கிய பிரிவினருக்கு 10% இட ஒதுக்கீட்டை வழங்க மேற்கு வங்க அமைச்சரவை ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது.
  • இதுவரை உள்ள மொத்த இடஓதுக்கீடு 48% ஆகும்.
  • இந்த புதிய இட ஓதுக்கீட்டிற்குப் பிறகு புதிய இட ஒதுக்கீடு 53.2% என்றளவில் இருக்கும்.
  • இதன் மூலம் தமிழ்நாடு, மகாராஷ்டிரா மற்றும் தெலுங்கானாவையடுத்து 50% இட ஒதுக்கீட்டைத் தாண்டிய 4- வது மாநிலமாக மேற்கு வங்காளம் மாறியுள்ளது

 

 

• பயனர்கள் வங்கிக் கணக்குகளைத் திறந்து மொபைல் போன் இணைப்பைப் பெறுவதற்கான அடையாளத்தின் சான்றாக ஆதார் தானாக முன்வந்து பயன்படுத்த அனுமதிக்கும் ஆதார் மற்றும் பிற சட்டங்கள் (திருத்த) மசோதாவை 2019 நாடாளுமன்றம் நிறைவேற்றியது
  • தனியார் நிறுவனங்கள் ஆதார் தரவுகளில் விதிமுறைகளை மீறினால், அவர்களுக்கு ரூ.1 கோடி அபராதம் மற்றும் சிறைத்தண்டனை விதிக்கப்படும்

• காணாமல் போன குழந்தைகளை மீட்பதற்காக “மிலாப்” என்ற ஒரு நடவடிக்கையை தில்லி காவல்துறையின் குற்றவியல் பிரிவு நடத்தியுள்ளது.
  • இது காணாமல் போன 333 குழந்தைகளை தில்லியில் மீட்டு நாட்டின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் வாழும் அந்தக் குழந்தைகளின் குடும்பத்தினரிடம் ஒப்படைத்துள்ளது
  • இந்தக் குழந்தைகள் 2019 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி முதல்
    நாட்டின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளிலிருந்து காணாமல் போயுள்ளனர். அந்தக் குழந்தைகள் தில்லியில் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
  • தில்லி காவல் துறையின் ஆட்கடத்தல் தடுப்புப் பிரிவானது 2014 ஆம் ஆண்டில் அமைக்கப்பட்டது

விளையாட்டு நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• இந்திய கிரிக்கெட் கட்டுப்பாட்டு வாரியம் (BCCI) முன்னாள் இந்திய கேப்ட்ன் ராகுல் டிராவிட்டை தேசிய கிரிக்கெட் அகாடமியில் (NCA) கிரிக்கெட் தலைவராக நியமித்தது. அவர் NCA- வில் கிரிக்கெட் தொடர்பான அனைத்து நடவடிக்கைகளையும் கவனிப்பார். அவர் என்.சி.ஏவில் வழிகாட்டுதல், பயிற்சி, பயிற்சி மற்றும் வீரர்கள், பயிற்சியாளர்கள் மற்றும் உதவி ஊழியர்களை ஊக்குவிப்பதில் ஈடுபடுவார்.

• இந்தியாவின் மத்திய வங்கியான ரிசர்வ் வங்கி (ரிசர்வ் வங்கி) புதுடில்லியில் நடந்த கூட்டத்தில் ஒழுங்க முறையை வலுப்படுத்துவதற்கும், மத்திய வங்கியின் மேற்பார்வை செய்வதற்கும் “உத்கர்ஷ் 2022” “Utkarsh 2022” என்ற மத்திய கால நோக்கத்திற்காக மூன்று ஆண்டு வழி வரைபடத்தை இறுதி செய்துள்ளது

 

 

• இந்திய ரிசர்வ் வங்கியின் மத்திய இயக்குநர்கள் குழுவின் 577 வது கூட்டம் புது தில்லியில் நடைபெற்றது. மத்திய நிதி மற்றும் கார்ப்பரேட் விவகார அமைச்சர் நிர்மலா சீதாராமன், மத்திய வாரிய இயக்குநர்களிடம் உரையாற்றினார்.

NATIONAL NEWS

• Parliament passed Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2019 which allows voluntary use of Aadhaar as proof of identity for users to open bank accounts and get mobile phone connection.
  • If private entities violate provisions on Aadhaar data, they will be imposed Rs 1 crore penalty and a jail term.

 

• Delhi – Lucknow Tejas Express one of the most – awaited trains on the route announced in 2016, is set to be the first train to be operated by private players. At present, it is parked at the Anandnagar Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh. It will be handed over to private players after an open bidding process for operationalisation.

 

• The Delhi Police Crime Branch has resuced 333 childeren, who had reported missing since January 2019 from various parts of the country, The crime branch took ‘Operation Milap’ under which the children are rescued and reunited with their respective familes.

 

• The government of Uttarkhand has decide to levy a “eco tax” for tourists visiting the state.
  • The tax would be decided by the urban local body of the concerned place.
  • It will be used to dispose the waste generated in the fragile ecosystem by visiting tourists.
  • Mussoorie and Nainital are the two hill towns that levy “entry tax” for visitors.

 

• The Bengal cabinet approved 10% reservation for economically weaker sections (EWS) in the general category in state government jobs and educational institutions.
  • Bengal so far had a total quota of 48%
  • After the new reservation. reservation quota will be 53.2%
  • By this Bengal has become the fourth state after Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Telangana to cross the 50% reservation cap.

BANKING AND FINANCE

• India’s central bank, Reserve Bank of india (RBI) has finalized a three – year road map for medium – term objective named “Utkarsh 2022” for strengthening regulation, supervision of the central bank in a meeting in New Delhi

 

• The 577th meeting of the Central Board of Directors of Reserve Bank of India (RBI was held at New Delhi Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman, addressed the Directors of Central Board.
  • RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das, Revenue Secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey, Secretary (Investment and Public Asset Management) Atanu Chakraborty and Chief Economic Advisor Dr. Krishnamurthy Subramanian have attended the meeting.

SPORTS

• The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) appointed the former Indian Captain Rahul Dravid as Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). He will look after all cricket related activities at NCA. He will be involved in mentoring, Coaching, training  and motivating  players, Coaches and Support staff the NCA.
  • He will work with the National men’s and women’s Head coaches and coaches for India Developmental teams including India A, India Under 19, India Under 23 teams.
