தமிழக நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• தேசிய செயல்முறை சார் மற்றும் பொருளாதார குழுவின் ஆய்வறிக்கையின் படி (NCAER – National Council of Applied Economic Research) அதிக முதலீடுகளை ஈர்க்கும் மாநிலங்களின் பட்டியலில் தமிழ்நாடு 6வது இடத்திலிருந்து 2வது இடத்திற்கு முன்னேறியுள்ளது.
  இப்பட்டியலில் டெல்லி முதலிடம் பிடித்துள்ளது.

 

 

இந்திய நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• முக்கிய மந்திரி கிஷான் ஆயே பதோத்திரி சோலார் யோஜனா (Mukeyamantri Kisan Aaye badhotri solar yojana) – டெல்லி யூனியன் பிரதேச அரசானது தங்கள் யூனியன் பிரதேசத்தில் உள்ள விவசாயிகளின் நிலத்தில் மூன்றில் ஒரு பங்கில் சூரிய ஒளி மின் தகடு அமைத்து மின்சாரம் உற்பத்தி செய்து தங்கள் வருமானத்தை பெருக்கிக் கொள்வதற்காக தொடங்கியுள்ளது.

 

 

• சுற்றுச் சூழல் தகவலமைப்பை பாதுகாப்பதற்கான முதல் தும்பிகளுக்கான திருவிழா (First – ever dragonfly Festival) டெல்லியில் நடைபெற உள்ளது.

 

• இந்தி சாகித்ய அகாதெமியின் உயரிய விருதான ஷலக்கா சம்மன் விருது (Shalaka Samman Awears) இந்தி கவிஞர் ‘ஜாகித் அக்தருக்கு’ வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

 

• ராஷ்மி ரோபோ – உலகில் முதன் முதலாக இந்தி பேசும் ரோபோ ராஷ்மி, இந்தியாவின் இராஞ்சியைச் சேர்ந்த ‘ரஞ்சித் ஸ்ரீ வாட்சா’ என்பவரால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது

 

 

உலக நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• நகர்புற மேம்பாடு, புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க எரிசக்தி ஆகிய துறைகளில் நிதி, தொழில்நுட்ப ரீதியிலான ஒத்துழைப்பு வலுப்படுத்துவது தொடர்பாக இந்தியா, ஜெர்மனி இடையே ஒப்பந்தம் கையெழுத்தாகியுள்ளது.

 

 

• பாகிஸ்தான் பாதுகாப்பு விவகாரங்களுக்காக ஆண்டுதோறும் வழங்கப்படும் $750 மில்லியன் டாலர் நிதியுதவியை குறைத்து $150 மில்லியன் டாலராக அளிப்பதற்கான தேசிய பாதுகாப்பு அதிகாரமளித்தல் சட்டம் 2019 (National Defense Authorisation Act – 2019) அமெரிக்க பாராளுமன்றம் நிறைவேற்ற உள்ளது.

 

 

•  மலேசியாவில் உள்ள ஆசிய – பசுபிக் பிராந்திய ஒளிப்பரப்புதல் மேம்பாட்டு நிறுவனத்தின் (AIBD) தலைமை பொறுப்பிற்காக ‘இந்தியா’ இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
  • கொழும்பில் நடைபெற்ற AIBDவருடாந்திர கூட்டத்தில் இம்முடிவு எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• உலகிலேயே அமைதியான நாடுகளின் பட்டியலில் மொத்தம் 163 நாடுகளில் இந்தியா 137வது இடம் பிடித்துள்ளது. (World Peace Index – 2018 – India 137th rant)
  • முதலிடத்தை ஜஸ்லாந்து தக்க வைத்துள்ளது. இரண்டாம் மற்றும் மூன்றாம் இடம் முறையே நியூசிலாந்து மற்றும் ஆஸ்திரியா பெற்றுள்ளது. கடைசி இடத்தில் தெற்கு சூடான் உள்ளது.

 

விளையாட்டு நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• இந்திய கால்பந்து அணியின் கேப்டன் சுனில் தேத்ரியின் 34-வது பிறந்த நாளையொட்டி அவரை கால்பந்து விளையாட்டிற்கான ஆசியாவின் சின்னமாக (ஐகான்) ஆசிய கால்பந்து கூட்டமைப்பு (AFC) அறிவித்துள்ளது.

• இந்தியாவில் முதன் முறையாக ஜம்மு – காஷ்மீர் உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தின் முதல் பெண் தலைமை நீதிபதியாக ‘கீதா மிட்டல்’(Gita – Mittal) என்பவர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
  • தற்போது கீதா – மீட்டல், டெல்லி உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தின் பொறுப்பு தலைமை நீதிபதியாக பதவி வகித்து வருகிறாhர்.
  • ஜம்மு – காஷ்மீர் உயர்நீதி மன்றத்தின் பொறுமை தலைமை நீதிபதியாக பதவி வகித்து வருகிறார்.
• குறிப்பு
  • ஜம்மு – காஷ்மீர் உயர்நீதிமன்றம், ஜனவரி 1, 1928ம் ஆண்டு ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டது.
    ஜம்மு, காஷ்மீர் அரசியலமைப்பு சட்டம் நவம்பர் 17, 1956ல் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளப்பட்டு 26 ஜனவரி 1957ல் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டது.

 

 

• மாநிலங்களவை துணைத் தலைவர்கள் குழுவின் முதல் பெண் மாநிலங்களவை துணைத் தலைவராக ‘கஹகஷான் பர்வீன்’ என்பவர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். இவர் பீகார் மாநிலத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்.

NATIONAL NEWS

• The iconic Mughalsarai Railway Junction in Uttar Pradesh has been renamed as Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction Railway station. BJP National President Amit Shah  inaugurated the renamed station. A goods train with an all-woman crew was also flagged off.

 

• To address the issues, challenges and concerns of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), GST council in its 29th meeting decided to create a sub-committee headed by MoS Finance Shiv Pratap Shukla for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector.
  • The issues related to law would be taken up by the law committee and issues related to rates would be taken up by the fitment committee.

 

• Government has approved 122 new research projects of 112 crore rupees under its Impacting Research Innovation and Technology ‘IMPRINT-2’ The initiative aims to advance research in energy, security and healthcare domains in the high education institutions.
  • It would cover the fields of Energy, Security, Healthcare, Advanced Materials, ICT and Security/Defence.
  • IMPRINT: IMPacting Research INnovation and Technology.

 

• Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched the Defence India Startup Challenge in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The challenge was launched with a vision to build an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in defence sector and make India self-reliant for meeting defence requirements.
  • Raksha Mantri also launched SPARK (support for prototype and research Kickstart) in defence, framework for Idex partners, and promotion of start ups under Make II procedure.

 

INTERNATIONAL NEWS

• According to Bloomberg’s data Japan is now the world’s second-largest stock market. It has overthrown China as its total equity is $6.17 trillion and that of China’s is $6.09 trillion.
  • The United States is the world’s biggest market for stocks, with total worth just over $31 trillion.

 

• Six Israeli startups working on healthcare, agriculture and water management sectors have been selected under the “Israel-India Bridge to Innovation” program to interact with various Indian businesses.

 

• The UK government has announced new plans to change the law for organ and tissue donation to address the urgent need for organs within the Indian-origin communities in the country. The proposed new system of consent for organ and tissue donation is expected to come into effect in England in 2020, as part of a drive to help Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) people desperately waiting for a life-saving transplant.

 

SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY

• Indian-origin U.S. astronaut Sunita Williams is among the 9 astronauts selected by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) to fly the first missions into space on commercial spacecraft, starting in

 

• Chinese scientists have created the first single-chromosome yeast without affecting the majority of its functions. It could also lead to the creation of new man-made species in future.

 

SPORTS

• Indian Golfer Gaganjeet Bhullar grabbed his maiden European Tour title at the Fiji International in Natadola Bay. He won with a one-stroke win over a charging Anthony Quayle of Australia. It was Bhullar’s first win on the European Tour, ninth Asian Tour title and 10th crown overall.

 

• In Women’s Hockey World Cup 2018, the Netherlands has been crowned the world champions for a record eighth time. The defending champions recorded a stunning 6-0 victory over Ireland in the summit clash at London, UK to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to 32 matches.
  • Spain won the third-place match by beating Australia to claim their first ever World Cup medal. India finished the tournament at the 8th spot.
