• புவிசார் குறியீட்டுப் பதிவுத் துறையானது கொடைக்கானல் மலைப் பூண்டிற்கு புவிசார் குறியீட்டு அடையாளத்தை வழங்கியுள்ளது.
  • தமிழ்நாட்டில் பூண்டானது காரிப் பயிர் (ஜுன் – ஜுலை) மற்றும் ராபிப் பயிர் (அக்டோபர் – நவம்பர்) வகையாக இருக்கின்றது.

 

 

தேசிய நிகழ்வுகள்

• முத்தலாக் தடை மசோதா நாடாளுமன்ற மக்களவையை தொடர்ந்து மாநிலங்களவையிலும் நிறைவேறியது.
  • 2017 ஆம் ஆண்டு முத்தலாக்கிற்கு உச்ச நீதி மன்றம் செல்லாது என்று தீர்ப்பளித்தது.
  • அதன் பிறகு பிப்ரவரி 21, 2019 அன்று அவசர சட்டம் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

 

 

 

• நுகர்வோர் உரிமையை மேலும் வலிமைப்படுத்தும் வகையில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ள நுகர்வோர் பாதுகாப்பு மசோதா மக்களவையில் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது.
  • இது மத்திய உணவு மற்றும் நுகர்வோர் விவகாரங்கள் துறை அமைச்சரான ராம்விலாஸ் பஸ்வானால், நுகர்வோர் பாதுகாப்பு சட்டம், 1986-க்கு பதிலாக “நுகர்வோர் பாதுகாப்பு மசோதா 2018” தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது.
  • இதையடுத்து மாநிலங்களவைக்கு அந்த மசோதா அனுப்பி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

 

• மத்திய நிதியுதவி பெற்ற பேட்டி பச்சாவ் பேடி பதாவோ திட்டத்தின் கீழ், ஜம்மு-காஷ்மீர் மாவட்ட நிர்வாகம் உதம்பூர், ஜுன் டூ (Jeena Do) என்ற ஹெல்ப்லைனை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது. பாலின விகிதத்தை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கும், கருத்தரித்தல் மற்றும் முன்-நோயறிதல் நுட்பங்கள் (Pre – Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques – PCPNDT) 1994 இன் தவறியவர்களைக் கையாளுவதற்காக கொண்டு வரப்பட்டதாகும்.

NATIONAL NEWS

• On Tuesday the Muslim Women Bill, 2019, or the Triple Talaq Bill(Protection of Rights on Marriage), in Rajya Sabha, with Opposition parties demanding a review by select committee.
  • The Bill to ban instant Triple Talaq was tabled by Union law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad who said more than 20 countries have regulated triple talaq.

 

 

• Customer Safety bill have passed in Lok Sabha , Which is developed to enhance the Customer Rights.
  • The central food and Affairs minister Ram Vilas Paswan, passes this Customer safety bill 2018 instead of the customer safety bill 1986 .

 

 

• Under the central funding scheme beti bachao beti padhao jammu and kashmir district Administration Udhampur has  launched a helpline, “Jeene Do” .
  • The objective is to improve sex ratio and deal with defaulters of Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal

 

 

 

• A new political campaign ‘Didi Ke Bolo’ has been initiated by the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee to address the public grievances and other social issues.
  • More than 1,000 party workers will go to different villages in the next 100 days to learn about local issues.

 

 

APPOINTMENTS

• Jagdeep Dhankar has been sworn in as the State Governor of West Bengal. The Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court Mr T.B Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office and Secrecy to him.
  • Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, her cabinet colleagues and other distinguished guests were present at the function.

 

 

AWARDS

• Famous Hill Garlic of Kodaikanal bagged the Geographical Indication (GI) tag. It has become a single agricultural product from the hill station of the south.
  • It would not allow using the name ‘hill garlic’ for other varieties.

• In order to raise awareness of the situation of victims of human trafficking and promotion and protection of their rights, the UN General Assemblydesignated July 30 as the World Day Against Trafficking In Persons.
