Apprentice:

Age limit (As on 31.12.2018): 18 to 24 years

Relaxations in upper age limit:

  • 5 years for SC/ST candidates
  • 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates
  • 10 years for PWD candidates (15 years for SC/ST & 13 years for OBC)
  • Others as per govt rules.

Jr Engineering Assistant at Mathura Refinery

Selection Process

Trade & Technician Apprentices

  • Written Exam.
  • Skill Test.
  • Interview
JEA/JTA:
  • The selection methodology will comprise of Written Test and a Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT) which will be of qualifying nature.
  • Shortlisted candidates to securing minimum qualifying marks in the written test, will be required to undergo a Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT). The SPPT for each discipline shall be conducted by a duly constituted committee.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be 40% marks (relaxed by 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories).

Technician Apprentice: 

  • 3 years Diploma course in Engineering in the relevant disciplines from a recognized Institute/ University.
  • Diploma in relevant disciplines are Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering

Trade Apprentice:

  • Matric with 2(Two) year ITI (Relevant trade) – full time, regular course from recognized Institute/ University.
  • The relevant trades are Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist Trade.

Trade Apprentice (Accountant):

  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Institute/ University.

Junior Engineering Assistant at Mathura Refinery

  • 3 years Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Refinery & Petrochemicals/ Mechanical /Electrical /Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Electronics/Instrumentation & Control Engineering  or 3 years B.Sc. (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry).

Jr Engg Asst at Gujarat Refinery

  • Matric plus Sub-Officers’ Course from NFSC-Nagpur or Equivalent (Regular Course) from any other recognized institute, with Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
