இந்தியா, ஜப்பானிடமிருந்;து 7000 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பிலான 18 புல்லட் இரயில்களை வாங்கவிருக்கின்றது. இந்த ஒப்பந்தம் இரயில்களை உள்ளுரில் தயாரிக்க உதவும் தொழில்நுட்ப பரிமாற்றத்திற்கான உத்திரவாத்தையும் கொண்டிருக்கும்.
இது 2022ம் ஆண்டிற்குள் நாட்டின் முதல் உயர்வேக இரயில் பாதையை நிறுவிடத் திட்டமிட்டுள்ள அரசாங்கத் திட்டத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாகும்.
நபார்டு வங்கியானது ஊரக உட்கட்டமைப்பு மேம்பாட்டு நிதியின் (Rural Infrastructure Development Fund – RIDF) கீழ் மேற்கு வங்கத்தின் நீர்பாசனத் திட்டங்களுக்கும், வெள்ளப் பாதுகாப்பு திட்டங்களுக்கும் சுமார் 335 கோடி ரூபாயை ஒதுக்கியுள்ளது.
யூத் அபியாஸ் – இந்தியா மற்றும் அமெரிக்க இராணுவங்களுக்கிடையேயான செயல்திறனை வலுப்படுத்த “Yudh Abhyas” என்னும் பெரிலான கூட்டு இராணுவப் பயிற்சி, 2 + 2 பேச்சுவார்த்தைக்குப் பிறகு செப்டம்பர் 16 முதல் 29 வரை, உத்திரகாண்ட் மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள சௌபட்டியா என்னும் இடத்தில் நடைபெற உள்ளது.

உலக நிகழ்வுகள்
“உலகளாவிய முதியோர் மற்றும் வயதானவர்களுக்கான மனித உரிமைகள்” என்ற தலைப்பின் கீழ் தென்கொரியாவின் சியோல் நகரத்தில், 3வது ஆசிய ஐரோப்பிய சந்திப்பு மாநாடு (ASEM – Asia Europe Meeting) நடைபெற்றது.
இம்மாநாட்டில் இந்தியா சார்பில் மத்திய சமூக நீதி மற்றும் அதிகாரமளித்தல் அமைச்சகமானது தலைமை வகித்தது.
மேலும் UNESCAP – (UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific), UNECE – (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe), ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியம், ஆசியான், GANHRI (Global Alliance for National Human Rights Institution) போன்ற பல்வேறு அமைப்புகள் பங்கு பெற்றன.
அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பம்
இந்தியாவிலேயே தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட தேஜாஸ் என்ற இலகு ரக போர் விமானத்திற்கு நடுவானில் மறு எரிபொருள் நிரப்பும் பணியானது முதன்முதலாக இந்திய விமானப் படையால் வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தி முடிக்கப்பட்டது.
இரஷ்யாவல் கட்டமைக்கப்பட்ட IL – 78 MKI எரிபொருள் நிரப்பு விமானமானது தேஜாஸ் MK – I விமானத்திற்கு எரிபொருளை நிரப்பியது.
கடல்நீரை கண்காணித்து அதனால் பருவநிலை மாற்றத்தில் ஏற்படும் விளைவுகளை கண்டுபிடிப்பதற்காக சீனாவானது “HY-1C” என்னும் கடற்சார் செயற்கைகோளை லாங் மார்ச் 2C என்னும் இராக்கெட் மூலம் வெற்றிகரமாக விண்ணில் செலுத்தியுள்ளது.

The Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh inaugurated the 6th International Geriatric Orthopaedic Society of India Conference at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
The theme of the conference is: “Increased Longevity with Reduced Fragility and Enhanced Mobility”.
This was organized by Geriatric Orthopaedic Society of India.
The Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) in its study reported that the pollution by particulate emission from commuting in Delhi is highest among 14 major cities in the country.
The study was discussed on the first day of an international conclave on Towards Clean and Low Carbon Mobility.

NASA’s Focusing Optics X-ray Solar Imager, or FOXSI took its third flight from the White Sands Missile Range in White Sands, New Mexico.
