உலக செய்திகள்

 

 

• பசியால் வாடும் மக்கள் வசிக்கும் நாடுகளின் பட்டியலில் இந்தியா 100வது இடத்தில் உள்ளது. ஆசிய அளவில் ஆப்கானிஸ்தான் முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது. பாகிஸ்தான் 2வது இடத்திலும், இந்தியா 3வது இடத்திலும் உள்ளது.

 

• பாகிஸ்தான் நாட்டின் இடைக்கால பிரதமராக முன்னாள் தலைமை நீதிபதி நசிருல் முல்க் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

 

• நேபாளத்தில் இன்று 2018-2019ம் ஆண்டிற்கான பட்ஜெட் தாக்கல் செய்யப் படவுள்ளது.

 

• பாகிஸ்தானில் நடைபெற்ற தேர்தலில், இஸ்லாமிய வாக்குகளை விட சிறுபான்மை வாக்குகள் அதிகமாக உள்ளது. இந்த சிறுபான்மை வாக்குகளில் இந்து வாக்காளர்கள் 2வது இடத்தில் உள்ளனர்.

• கம்போடியா உலக தமிழர் மாநாட்டில், தமிழர்களுக்கு தனி வங்கி உருவாக்க வேண்டும் என்று தீர்மானம் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

• ஜன்தன் உள்ளிட்ட அடிப்படை கணக்குகளில் இருந்து 4 முறைக்கு மேல் பணம் எடுத்தால் அவர்களது வங்கி கணக்கு முடக்கப்படும் என்று ரிசர்வ் வங்கி அறிவித்துள்ளது.

• பிரெஞ்சு ஓபன் டென்னிஸ் போட்டிக்கான நிகழாண்டு பரிசுத் தொகை ரூ.45.73 மில்லியன் அமெரிக்க டாலர்கள் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• எல் அண்ட் டி(லார்சன் அண்ட் டூப்ரோ) நிறுவனத்தின் நான்காம் காலாண்டு லாபம் ரூ.3,167 கோடியாக அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

 

• பொதுத்துறையைச் சேர்ந்த பேங்க் ஆஃப் இந்தியா நான்காவது காலாண்டில் ரூ.3,969.27 கோடி இழப்பை கண்டுள்ளது.

 

• என்.எல்.சி இந்தியா நிறுவனம் வட்டி, வரி, தேய்மானம், கடனுக்காக ஒதுக்கீட்டுக்கு முந்தைய வருமானமாக, நடந்த நிதியாண்டில்(2017-2018) ரூ.3,706.76 கோடி ஈட்டியுள்ளது. இது முந்தைய வருமானத்தை விட 23 சதவீதம் அதிகமாகம்.

• India Signs Loan Agreement With World Bank For Rajasthan Project

1. An Agreement for IBRD Credit of USD 21.7 Million from the World Bank for the Strengthening of Public Financial Management in Rajasthan Project was signed in New Delhi. The Project size is approximately USD 31 million, of which USD 21.7 million will be financed by the World Bank, and the remaining amount will be funded out of the State Budget.

 

• Cochin International Airport, World’s 1st Fully Solar Energy-Powered Airport: UNEP

1. The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has recognised Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) in Kerala as the world’s first fully solar energy-powered airport. CIAL is India’s first airport to be constructed in public-private-partnership (PPP) model in 1999.
2. It is the busiest and largest airport in the state of Kerala. The airport has 15 MWP solar power plant near the cargo complex of airport comprising 46,150 solar panels laid across 45 acres.

1. The theme of the International Day of UN Peacekeepers 2018 is ‘UN Peacekeepers: 70 Years of Service and Sacrifice’. The first UN peacekeeping mission was established on 29 May 1948. The day was first celebrated in 2003.

1. NSDL executive Sudha Balakrishnan has been appointed the first-ever chief financial officer (CFO) of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
